HELP #YolandaPH : www.help.ph

It has been a week since the arrival of scary Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), up until now, I can see photos and videos on the Typhoon aftermath and it pains to see how families lose not only their houses but to some, their loved ones!  I've Google-d ways to help and to be honest, there are so many venues to help it gets a bit confusing as to which venue we would go to!

I've recently learned about www.help.ph and this is one of the smartest way to help --- with just ONE text message!

HelpPh (www.helpphilippines.ph<http://www.helpphilippines.ph> is a global campaign donation via mobile load to fund programs for relief and rebuilding efforts.  Mobile phone users from more than 40 countries can finally do their part and send airtime load to the Philippine Disaster Recovery Founadtion (PDRF) through BayadLoad, a mobile money service of Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) approved by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (the Philippine Central Bank).  Imagine, it's like "bayadload" but international version!

To contribute to HelpPh, mobile phone subscribers overseas must key-in +63-999-7-000-000 (12-digits) as the beneficiary mobile number and then send their donation  using the airtime top-up procedure of their specific mobile network operator.  The maximum amount per day is US$10.  This fund-raising program will continue until December 31, 2013.
