I recently attended an event from Love Bonito held at The Mess Hall and I wore my favorite Love Bonito Pieces.
How do you like my look?
I've been seeing Love Bonito Hauls online for so long. I've been meaning to shop but I am so lazy to worry about the right size so I pushed the thought aside.
Thankfully, because of their biggest mid-year sale, I've decided to give it a go this month and guess what? I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY FIRST PURCHASE there are 2 deliveries scheduled to deliver because I was hooked!
Since turning into a mom, my accessories area was left with spider webs --- Just Joking.
But I haven't touched my accessories bags and kit for the longest time. Fellow moms would understand especially if you are a very hands on mom!
Some moms can slay it, but I can't! I breastfed, I cook, I wash my child's bum, I feed him, I chase and ran after him. I am just always the go so getting ready --- takes a couple of minutes so no time to mix and match with accessories --- and being close to your son at all times - I'd rather not have any accessories for safety.
That said, when my son turned older --- and less clingy :P I can finally dress up and take time to wear my favorite accessories.
Timing, I was sent a MIKANA Collection which I have been eyeing on Shopee.

At Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, Taeuber-Arp and fellow artists of the avant-garde including Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst and Guillaume Apollinaire met nightly. Their performances, publications, recitals and readings played out an astonishing newaesthetic: Dada.
Taeuber-Arp's hastily improvised costumes and the marionettes she designed for her most famous work, `King Stag´ radiate joyful energy, kinetic spirit and theatrical panache. They are fully formed fairytale characters with a charm that lies somewhere between the robotic and the animal.
Max Mara's strong and surprising silhouettes are articulated with equal aplomb. In all the hues of a Taeuber-Arp tapestry, the collection explores playful contrasts of mini and maxi, micro and macro, skinny and outsize.
Part boot, part legging, Max Mara's crêpe-soled knitted cuissards feature anatomically placed quilting. Mohair sweaters feature similarly articulated sleeves. Paired with a quilted nylon micro-skirt, those boots express a new dynamic. If not thigh high, skirts are regal, bell shaped and full length – perfect with a skinny turtleneck and a balaclava.
The volume is turned up on trousers too; in winter white with the widest legs ever, they appear in tailored cavalry twill and jersey-backed techno-nylon. Closer inspection of those marionettes reveals how Sophie Taeuber-Arp elevates prosaic hardware to poetic heights.
Max Mara chooses a pale matte gold zipper as its talisman. Zippered pockets and side splits pop up in unexpected places, and when a tailored jacket or a mannish `cappottino' get a double zip fastening, they assume a distinctly Dada dimension.
Of course, Max Mara's coats take centre stage, perfect in form, function and finish, fit for a fairytale queen – or king. Long or short, they underline the collection's new slouch and swagger. The stuff of dreams, Teddy Bear fabric gets a fresh look too. We know it works very well in a coat, but who knew that it works in a tunic, a floor-sweeping skirt, even an audacious pair of shorts?
It gets cold, very cold in Taeuber-Arp's alpine homeland. Max Mara brings on oversized puffas– layer one over your Teddy Bear for maximum effect. And the wadding is upcycled; it derives from the otherwise waste material from the production of the Teddy Bear Coats.
Max Mara spins a yarn with a series of chunky knits featuring striking motifs blown up and abstracted. It all adds up to a collection that fully honours Max Mara's promise of sleek modern dressing, with a dash of Cabaret Voltaire's whirlwind creativity and a sprinkle of magic dust.

With everything opening up, restaurants, schools, and a lot more! I am so lucky with meetings that are still done online. I mean let's set COVID aside for a moment, I still don't want to go out because of Traffic! I mean if things can be done online, why not? I am so happy and thankful some companies feel the same.
That said, I already mastered my Work-From-Home game! If there's a game! My schedule is crazier and busier! With Kyle's classes back in full blast and he is now in Grade 4, the exams and homeworks are CRAZY!!!! Aside from the cooking mama job, I had to tutori him at the same time with my PR work and blogging work back in full blast, yes, I don't know how I can still manage it. But so far, still good. I just have to do a lot of changes in both schedule and the way I prepare myself.

I used to shy away from white top! Not only because they get dirtied easily, but I have a bit of body issues - we all do! But I have broad shoulders and big arms, wearing light colored tops would enhance those features.
Today, I am not wearing this top just because I felt I am very sexy :P I wish I could say that some day, but I am more comfortable to wear white top with the right pairing - and of course, pick the right size of clothin.
Kyle and I seldom "Twin" because TBH, this mom is LAZY :P
Working from home since Kyle was born plus doing house chores and a lot of cooking. Twinning would be the last thing I need because I am just too tired to think! :P
But since it is Kyle's summer vacation and at the age of 9 years old, he is more aware and wanted to share good memories with me, he was actually the one who decided to do this Twinning moment and I got the idea of doing the transition video for Instagram just to keep this moment forever!
I got both striped top shirts from Shopee.
When you shop online for current fashion trends. You see a lot of cute cropped tops! I find these inexpensive yet easy to match with whatever you have in the closet. More importantly, aside from less than Php100 price points, you get a whole lot of colors to choose from! Here's a cute top I got from Shopee recently for only Php88.00!

I used to be so cared with any outfit with a word that says "CROP".
No matter how much I workout, my non-existent abs stays hidden for as long as I remember. But that doesn't mean I can't dress cute and be like a Gen Z right? :P

Hello AMW Friends!
I am still working from home with various ZOOM calls and interviews with clients for HR jobs. Yes, if you don't know, I am still on the HR field! But I'll keep that a secret as my job is somewhat like CSI :P #JustJoking
So because the heat is going crazy and wearing a blazer is still important to some culture like that from Japan and Hong Kong. I've invested on my favorite pastel colored coordinates (they are actually NOT coordinates as I bought them separately!) Thankful for the similar shades I was able to call this a coords!

And because of the heat, I can easily remove the blazer while waiting for my next schedule and do mom tasks like tutor and cooking! I make sure to wear my apron thought OR ELSE :P

I've got this top from my favorite store at Lazada called Vero Moda. I have been a fan of this online store because I have physically visit this store when I worked in China years back so I am confident with the quality of their dresses, tops or bottoms.
This "vaccine" top that I jokingly call is one of my favorite because it is comfortable enough to move around the house to do my mom-chores at the same time, I can easily log in to m Zoom meetings and work-related interviews without the need to change my top!
I love breeze-y outfit. Styles that moves with my body, nothing constricted, nothing complicated. Well, this outfit was almost a complicated one (originally an off shoulder) but I opt to wear it like this because I can drive, walk the dog, go up and down the car to pick up food and groceries for my parents with no issue.
I pair this Blue Ruffled Off Shoulder top with a Korean Shorts! Shorts not too long or short, just right for the summer!
Wearing a high ponytail is perfect for the look and a natural-looking makeup! What do you think?

I can’t count the number of black, and white outfit I have inside my dresser! I love clothes by the way! As a Beauty Blogger, you would think I only collect skincare products and makeup products. Well, this woman has a lot of likes *ahem* I honestly love clothes and I have good imagination because I have been shopping online for clothes for YEARS! And can you believe when I say it’s 0.1% returns?
I almost never get to return the clothes I bought because they, most of the time, fits, and works for me! I have this mala-computer brain and I can immediately imagine the clothes worn by me! Do you have that same talent?

These 2 dresses are old dresses I bought via Zalora #NOTsponsored . I’ve worn both of these on special occasions, the black one during one of my important makeup workshop in a hotel while the white one was during a Cathy Doll anniversary held in Bangkok Thailand. That dress met Mario Maurer by the way! *winks*
This dress is surprisingly very comfortable to wear! I think that year, the irregular-shaped and overlapping skirt is a thing! I saw Jennifer Lopez wore a similar dress and I am NOT saying she got inspired by me! LOL But it is so good to think so! Hahaha Bear with me!
I am most excited when I get to visit my parents on the weekend. My life was a blur from Mondays to Fridays so having this break is a nice way to fix my focus and fill up my happiness jar.
It used to be me, my husband and Kyle who visits my parents but because of the pandemic, we tried to keep Kyle not away from exposure since a lot of the members in my parents’ household goes out for work.
