AMW Reports: Garnier Pure Active Launch and Fans Day!

When Major of Garnier Philippines invited me to be one of his guests for their Garnier event at the Robinson's Equitable Tower in Ortigas, I immediately checked my schedule and was glad my schedule was open and I said YES right away! 

I braved Saturday traffic and didn't know what to expect when I arrived!  I can see a lot of reds and blues to represent the launch of Garnier Pure Active while I'm glad to still be part of the "theme" as I wore the original Garnier color - Green!

And who've thought today will be the day I will have a face to face encounter with Ms. Georgina Wilson?  The gorgeous face of Garnier Pure Active!

Let me start from the beginning and share to you what happened!

The event was hosted by Junior Product Managers Arlene and Major!  If they did not wear the Garnier jacket, you would've thought they were professional emcees!  Kudos to them for the great hosting skills, I can't count the times I've laughed!

Garnier Philippines Brand Manager, Barbara Ramos, welcomed everyone to the intimate gathering of Garnier fans from both Facebook and Twitter!  Amazing, Garnier took time to prepare this special day specifically for Garnier Fans!  I can see the "jive" the team got with the fans!  It was like they've been friends forever!

I was told that the event was prepared in a rush and it was just a sudden idea over lunch by the Garnier team to create fans day, seriously speaking, I can't tell!  The decors, registration service, hosting, slide shows and video presentations are done so seamlessly I would think this event was prepared for months!

To break the ice, a "Pinoy Henyo" (Filipino Genius) type of contest was done wherein contestants ask various questions and audience can only answer "Yes", "No" or "Maybe" and the contestant will guess the answer!  It was mostly about Garnier products and everyone who joined took home a Garnier loot bag filled with Garnier goodies!

Then the unveiling of the new line of Garnier Product called Pure Active!  Who would've thought on a busy Saturday afternoon like this, THE GARNIER PURE ACTIVE Model Ms. Georgina Wilson would appear in front of us and stun everyone with her beauty!

Georgina shared to us her experiences on pimples and how pimples could ruin anyone's day!  I was even randomly asked a question on how I deal with it if a pimple appeared just in time when I'm going out for a date.

I sheepishly answered: "I would probably lie and reschedule for another date!"  Georgina laughed and exclaimed: "See? Pimples can turn us into liars too!" 

So true!

The day after is also Georgina's birthday so she was surprised by Garnier staffs with flowers and cake and everyone sang her a birthday song!

Off we went to have our photos and videos taken!  Then buffet dinner was served and everyone went home full, happy and met a couple of new friends!

Congratulations Garnier Team for the successful event!  Thanks Major for the invite, Shen and I had loads of fun!!!

Seems to me this line is great for girls and boys who suffer from the 6 Skin Problems ---

AMW Reviews: Garnier Light Dark Spot Corrector Pen

There is something about Lemon that left me running to the opposite side.  Do not get me wrong, I do know the advantages of Lemon or shall I say, Vitamin C as part of any skincare product.  It helps lighten dark spots and brightens the area.  Why does it seem like I'm staying away from them?

Dryness!  I'm scared of putting any product with vitamin C as I've had my fair share of experiences trying them out then drying the hell out of my skin which led me to "hitting myself on the head" and went back to my old skin care regimen.

A couple of months ago, I have not been sleeping well and because of that, I ended up with pimples on random areas like the right side of my cheek, the forehead and a tiny bit on the chin area.  It was gone after 5-7 days but it left a mark that just can't get away.  

Then I saw the Garnier Light Dark Spot Corrector Pen sitting on top of my table which I put it for Mr. AMW to use!  I picked it up and ended up using this myself for weeks. 

Here's what I have to say....

Pros

• Nice, yellow, squeeze-y tube, easy to use!
• Consistency of the cream is just right.
• Gets absorbed into the skin easily and has a matte finish, you can apply makeup without any problems.
• Has a light lemon-y scent.
• It DOES lighten up fresh dark spots but not the old ones.  Keep in mind the application HAS to be consistent.
• For prolong use, lets say 2-3 tubes together with the other products from the Garnier Lightening Range, it does help speed up (a bit) the treatment.

Cons

• You cannot see the result in an instant.
• Need to do this religiously so lazy people out there? This is a CON for you.
• Can dry out the skin if you over apply.

Overall

This product may or may not work so please purchase at your own discretion.  My mom-in-law has been a Garnier user for more than a year and she's been loving the results and I've seen her dark spots around the cheek area literally decreased after constant am/pm usage for (take note) a year, lets not forget that she's also using the Garnier Lightening Cream with the Garnier Light Dark Spot Corrector Pen to spot treat dark areas.

Mr. AMW on the other hand have tried to use on his old pimple marks and he did not see any "obvious results" so he gave up!  (probably too impatient lol)
 

Personally speaking, I have been using this product only on dark spot and the darkness has reduced significantly (not in an instant) not knowing if it's because of the product or because it has been healing on its own.  (You tell me!)

Tips

• Best used consistently, morning and night.
• Use together with other Garnier Light products to see better results.  I can attest to this as my mom-in-law has her spots lightened after more than a year of usage!  Including THIS product.
• If you have sensitive skin, test product under the ear area for at least 12 hours and see if signs of itchiness or irritations occur.
• Dab a bit of the product directly to the dark spot.
• Feel free apply on larger areas if you want but you'll end up spending more!  I suggest you purchase the day and night cream.

Will I repurchase?
Not for myself, for my mom-in-law, yes!

To whom do I recommend this to?

Anyone with normal or oily skin who needs to lighten up dark areas around the face and can stick to the regimen for tubes and tubes.  Someone who is patient to see results in a month or even more!

Readers' Corner: Because You Wonder and I Answer

*waves* Happy Friday!  Summer season is definitely here but I am too lazy to get off my bed each and every morning!  So to those who share the same sentiments as I do, aren't you glad it's FINALLY Friday???

Today's post, I will be sharing some Q&A portion I've had on Cbox/email and I did promise everyone that whatever questions I found interesting, I will share to readers.  I know I know, shoot me!  It's been taking too long because my brain is just scattered all around!

On not being able to do eye make-up but wants to look "made up" and beautiful

I agree with most readers, yes, doing eye makeup will make a huge difference on your look!  Who wouldn't want to look gorgeous everyday?  But due to traffic, most of us (especially me) would need to wake up early to go to work just to steer away from all the hustle and bustle of living in a city.  There are some days I want to do a "no make-up" look which is quite easy!  But on random days I want to look "at least" a bit made-up, I have a secret to share!  I never pick up an eyeshadow as it takes too much time to do all the blending and with the warm weather, I just don't feel like applying!  Here's my secret for a nice "look" people will notice....

TADAH!

Yup!  Colored eye pencils!  They are turning out to be my bestfriend!  I bought the Lancome Le Crayon Kohl at Strawberrynet and I love how bright aqua blue it is!  With the smudger sponge on the other end, I can choose to create a simple blue liner look or apply a thick line and smudge gently which creates a very simple smokey aqua blue look!

And here are photos of my eye using the bright aqua blue liner on the waterline.  You can choose to apply the same liner on the upper lashline alone!

 

On Dark Spots or marks on skin

You may have really nice skin at the moment from all the trouble you went through to achieve it, but don't you hate it when there's a single dark spot that just won't go away?  I am lucky that dark spot is not YET a problem for me at the moment (Lord, please don't let it be) so I haven't really tried any dark spots treatment!  The most I've tried are "brightening" skincare or skincare line that can help "lighten up" spots or even out skin tone.  

I've recently came across with a Dark Spot Corrector Pen from Garnier!  As you all know, I haven't been using much Garnier products because there's just so many products to test and I unfortunately have only 1 head and face!  *laughs*  The brand is promising though as my mom-in-law swore on the effectivity of Garnier Light Overnight Whiteninig Peeling Cream (you can search on the left hand side for Garnier tag for all information on Garnier products I've discussed).

On More Inexpensive Hair Treatment

I've finally found satisfaction on a hair treatment from Kerastase.  My favorite out of all the range is the Kerastase Masque Nutri Thermique which works so well on me I actually finished up a whole tub even after trying to hard to scrimp by using only a small amount and applied only on the ends (driest part of hair).

I know!  A lot of you are probably raising one or two eyebrows as the price tag is quite high.  On weekends that my hair condition is not that bad, I do alternate by using more inexpensive hair treatments.  There's a lot out there but I share one mid-range option and one inexpensive option!  That's fair right? :D

L'Oreal Professional Serie Nature Oiliss Masque

Php1,045.00 (approx $25.00)

Best to use if you have normal to dry hair!  This works even as daily conditioner (if you have the budget), I finish up conditioner way faster than shampoos so I'm always ended up with shampoos without their partner!  It happened to me right this very moment so I am actually using this (on a tiny amount) regularly applying only at the end part of my hair!  It's non-greasy and smells wonderful!  

For deep treatment, I apply a good amount on the roots and massage gently.  I leave it for 15 minutes or more and voila, easier to manage hair for the coming days!

You guys can find L'Oreal professional products at most leading salons!  You can see them on display at David's Salon!  I usually get it from there.

Hair Treats Hair Spa Aloe Vera

Not sure but it's really  inexpensive!

I love looking inside Watson's because there are so many options to choose from that fits your budget!  I think my love for hair products started way earlier than my love for make-up!  I've tried so many hair products in the past I can create another blog just for hair!  *laughs*  This I've tried way back and me and my sister use to spend quiet Sunday afternoons massaging each other's head and wrapping our heads with cling wraps and sip on warm coffee!  Though instructions would say 20-30 minutes, we would leave this the whole afternoon would end up with super soft, shiny hair!

I've finished up big tubs of the Lavender variant and the Aloe is another one worth trying.

On wanting to try Tsubaki

If you are a beauty blog reader for quite some time, I am sure most of you have came across the Shiseido's famous shampoo and conditioner brand called Tsubaki!  *sheepishly raises hand*  I am one of the few who got addicted on reading reviews about Tsubaki!  Either the Red, the White or the Gold version, I just got so intrigued on the raves I've read I've been wanting to purchase it!  That one time I traveled to Shanghai, it was a Eureka Moment for me to have found a huge display of Tsubaki products and without giving much thought, I purchased the huge sized shampoo, conditioner and hair treatment right away not even thinking how heavy it is!

Lucky to most of you as there are more and more sellers selling them nowadays!  To some who does not want to shell out at least Php1,500 (approx $35.00) for a shampoo and conditioner set, I've seen at Watson's a very similar looking Tsubaki-ish bottle but this brand is made in Korea called Pure Beauty.

I am not saying Pure Beauty brand is similar to Tsubaki or even close to it, I guess it's the fact that Pure Beauty uses high quality Japanese Camelia Seed Oil in which a lot of Japanese use for their products!  The range consists of 5 products:  Treatment Shampoo, Treatment Hair Conditioner, Treatment Hair Mask, Treatment Essence Water and Treatment Hair Care Oil.

The price range is around Php300.00+ each product.  Worth it as the size is quite huge!

On scars

Scars, I used to think I'm flawless and I don't have them!  Well, that's the power of "thick faced" :P  I've had people asking me about scar treatments and I used to apologize and tell them I am not that confident enough to give information about those as I haven't tried any!  Not that I am confident now, a couple of months ago, Tiffany from an agency contacted me and asked me if I wanted to give a "scar lightening" product a test.  I nearly said no!  I asked for the website of the product and read everything!  Finally, I told myself why not?  Yes girls, I do not have flawless skin!  I do have scars because I am an "energizer bunny" remember?  I've been clumsy so many times so yes, I am testing this at the moment.  I am not sure if one tube will make a huge difference but it's worth to try!  Will probably test this on the "flat iron incident"!  

So girls, wish me luck!  I'll report if I find anything exciting to share!

Tip for the Day: All About Eyes

One of the most difficult product to review (in my opinion) are eye products!  The effects, both positive and negative, can sometimes be seen at a prolong period of time!

"Do eye products really work?"

The answer, is variable, depending on who you talk to.  Some may use the most expensive creams in the market and still cannot see any effects at all while others can purchase the cheapest eye cream in the market and the product could work for them!  

If you ask for my opinion, after years of eye products usage, it does work!  I can vouch on that with photos at the latter part of this post!  I cannot type down the products that work for me and assure everyone that it's the best in the market, we have different genetics and we are different, all I can do at the moment is to list down the top 5 products I've tried from the most inexpensive to the most expensive that works!  Bear in mind that the products mentioned here are only the ones I've used!  There are far more eye cream brands out there that I haven't used!  Research and read a lot...

1. Garnier Light Brightening Eye Roll (approx Php199.00/$4.00)

This is the most inexpensive eye product that works!  I've heard feedbacks from readers who told me that this product did nothing for them, but I got a chunk of readers who told me it worked for them.  In my own experience, this works for me especially on the first month, I can see the bags under the eye area decreased a bit but the reason why I stopped using this and gave it to my mom-in-law instead is because I am not seeing any results after the 2nd month!  My eyes probably got used to the product.  My mom-in-law on the other hand, finished 3 tubes of these and she loves this, she told me it works even better than her expensive eye creams!

If you are not allergic to anything with caffeine and you are on a very tight budget, you can give this a try, this is the best packaged eye product!  Quick tip: do not over "roll"!  It may cause stress around the eye area and cause more wrinkles or skin sagging!

2. GoodSkin Labs Eyliplex-2 (Php2,600/approx $56.50)

The most innovative packaging that separates day and night regimen!  The reason for this is that the day cream comes in lighter formulation and the night cream is more potent in texture.  I found myself using this more often because I don't want the day cream to finish faster than the other or vice versa that's why this gave me the push to use both day and night eye cream regularly!

The Eyliplex-2 works really well on dark circles base on my experience, puffiness did disappear but the  more obvious part would be the lightening up on the under eye area!  This is actually one of my favorite eye cream in which I recommend to a lot to my readers and friends!  Since I have the blessing of testing so many eye creams, I actually gave this up when my sister gave me a call and ask for good eye creams!  I did not think twice of letting this go immediately and so far, she told me she's liking this!

3. Tri-Aktiline Instant Deep Wrinkle Filler (Php2,600/approx $56.50)

For anyone with issues on wrinkles or obvious lines around the eye area, this is what I would recommend.  I have used this on both mature clients and myself!  You can click the name of the product to go to my review on the said product.  The lines are immediately blurred out, but the real effect of line reducing takes a bit longer time approximately 1 month to 2 months!  

This product is quite tricky to apply, it can form dried up "glue texture" and may make it quite difficult to apply makeup!  The huge trick I can share is to warm the product on your hand first, then quickly pat it on the area where lines are visible, leave it for a couple of minutes before you proceed to your next skincare or makeup routine!  If you get through the tricky part, this is a very good product a lot of beauty bloggers love!

4. Clinique Repairwear Intensive Eye Cream (sorry I don't have the price for this)

When I had the worst case of eye allergies a couple of years ago, I was scared to use anything near my eyes for almost a year, the first eye product I've used and trusted was the one from Clinique and it was a sample size of Clinique Repairwear Intensive Eye Cream in which I got from purchasing the 3-Step System.  

What I like about this eye cream is the fact that it's easy to apply on the eye area, it gets absorbed easily as well and even if I apply this on both the lids and the under eye area, I don't have any allergies or irritations. 

The thing about this eye cream though is because it is too intensive, there is a certain amount needed to be applied on each eye, applying too much will give me puffy eyes when I wake up in the morning.

How about the effect?  The immediate effect cannot be seen, what I noticed though is the skin around my eye area is moisturized and not as dry as before!  The lines around my eye area did not deepen but it wasn't obviously gone!  

5. La Mer Intense Eye Cream (Php6,000/approx $133.00)

I know, this is very pricey!  But trust me, I tried my best NOT to love this product because I am not into expensive products!  I have to surrender though, this product --- WORKS!  I have tried 2 sample sizes of the old version called La Mer The Eye Concentrate, it works in the moisturizing department but the consistency of the old version is quite runny!  The new La Mer The Eye Balm Intense is creamier in consistency and the effect is seen as soon as one week!

The puffiness on my eye area decreased a lot and even if I sleep only 3-4 hours at times, it wasn't shown when I woke up!  Even Mr. AMW noticed the puffiness around my eye area lessened drastically and take note, I am only using a sample size of this!  The sample size lasts me 3 weeks now and I still have enough!  Imagine how long the full size will take you!

I recommend this for people who have problems with puffiness and has the budget!

Whatever eye creams you choose, do not choose just because someone says so, or just because it works for other people.  Purchase eye creams base on your budget, base on trying out testers, base on research and always check on the ingredients to make sure you are not allergic to it!  If eye cream brands do not have testers available, the least you can do is ask from a friend who purchased a certain eye product you wanted to try and maybe, pay a small amount for a sample?  Give it a test.  I suggest taking photos as the difference cannot be seen at once but if you have a photo, you will feel better!  I do take a look at my photos every now and then and it gives me a nice push to consistently use my eye creams because it does work!  It takes months or even years, but the result is obvious...again, pictures do not lie!   (You can click photo above to enlarge, photoshop was used only to crop, watermark and brighten up photos)

AMW Reviews: Garnier Light Overnight Whitening Peeling Cream

Thank goodness, I don't have dark spots at the moment *knocks on wood*.  I may have some in the future but for now, I have my Garnier Skincare stash shared to my family and friends because I know they'll find it useful.  So useful that I ended up doing a review base on my family love --- My Mom-in-Law!

My mommy-oh is not into makeup but definitely addicted to skincare!  I used to hoard moisturizer for her when I travel to Hong Kong.  She uses mostly expensive brands as she thought those would work.  But she's wrong!

When I got my Garnier Skin Naturals pack from L'Oreal for Christmas, I gave it to her.  She got ecstatic when she saw "Anti-dark spots and dullness" written on the box!  I know she's been looking forever (and a day) for a cream that can visibly lighten her spots and freckles.

Overall

This product seriously works!  Pictures won't lie and you can scroll down to check the before and after shots!  I can't really tell when was the exact day the product works but who cares?  As long as it does right?  

The effect though definitely wasn't seen 28 days after, it does take longer for the product to work and Patience really is a Virtue!  Spots definitely lightened or almost disappeared, everyone in our family can notice that and I'm glad something inexpensive works against the more expensive creams!

If I do have age spots in the future, at least I know which product to rely on!  I hope this will work for me just like it did to my mommy-oh!

Tips

• use a spatula to scoop out product instead of your fingers.  If you prefer to use your fingers, make sure your fingers are clean and sanitized
• not sure if you're allergic to its ingredients?  Read labels, or apply this below the ear area for 24 hours to see if allergic reactions occur overnight
• store in cool dry place
• dry to massage onto face gently, never rub hard
• close lid tight
• if the brand works for you, use Garnier Light Whiten and Protect Moisturizing Scream with SPF15 to protect the skin in the morning against the sun.
• try to be consistent with application, you won't see the effect if you use this once every 2 weeks or use it consistently for a week then forget all about it the remaining weeks!  Consistency is the KEY!
• use sunblock!  Whether you use the Garnier day cream or not, do apply sunscreen with at least SPF20+  to protect your face

Will I recommend to others?
Yes, but then, different individuals react to skincare differently, so be careful!

AMW Reviews: Garnier Light Brightening Scrub Wash

Right this very moment,  I am not writing in my "crib" and I am not happy about it!  The transformer from our compound blew up and we don't have electricity for almost 2 days.  Talk about living the primitive life!  And if I may add, no electricity means no water as we solely depend on water pump which uses electricity.  We are checked in a hotel and trust me, this ain't vacation!  I love staying in a hotel and sleeping in late but looks like it's not going to happen as I need to wake up early for work.

Am I complaining?  ......

Yes! 
Am I unhappy?
No!
Nothing to do about it!

So let's get back to regular programming before I go into "nerd" mode about our electricity down here!  *laughs*

This is a type of scrub were you don't love nor hate!  It works well on the "brightening" and "cleaning the face" department.  When it comes to lightening the spots, it may take a lot of time and you may need to complete the whole system (toner plus  moisturizer).  That's why this review is a bit incomplete because Mr. AMW only uses this and does not want to use any moisturizer at all!

Tips 

• for normal to dry skinned individuals:  use this scrub once a week or once every two weeks depending on your skin 
• for oily skinned individuals: can use once to twice a week 
• do not scrub hard
• stop using if allergies and skin irritations occur and give this to friends who will make good use of this

Will I repurchase?

No, not meant for me.  Hubby says he found something better!  Will let you know his HG facial wash/scrub soon.

Where to purchase and how much?

At groceries and department stores for less than Php100.  Will get the exact price one we have electricity!  *lol*

Hope this simple review helps!  I have another willing tester who tried the Garnier Light Cream SPF15 for the past months!  Will report on it as soon as I get the chance to interview her! :)  Watch out for it!

I Wonder: Products You're Scared to Use

Happy Thursday everyone!  The week passed by pretty well!  People may think I've never been sad nor in a bad mood.  Well, I am only human!  I do get tired, sleepy, not in a mood, sad and most of all Psychotic! (hahaha, at least I admit it!) and a lot of you would ask me why I'm always in a cheerful mood!  Well, it's just perspective and choice!  I choose to be happy and cheerful because that's how I want my life to be and I choose to be happy!  I hope that sends out a good vibes to all of you :)

The week went well, I've been pretty diligent with my reviews, nail art tutorials and I've been answering email and Cbox queries quite on time!  So, I guess its time for me to turn the table again and create an "I Wonder" post this week because I seriously love hearing from YOU!  I enjoy reading your comments especially suggestions because hey..my beauty knowledge needed some expansion! *winks*

Being a beauty blogger, people may think I review ALL products that's available in the market.  WRONG!  I am very keen with the products I use and review.  There are so many wonderful products out there, we all agree on that but there are definitely products we know we just can't use.  To make it more specific, I'll talk about what I use daily, Facial Washes!  There are 2 types of facial washes I've always wanted to try and yet, I chicken out....

1. Facial wash that doubles as scrubs

Everyone who reads my blog knows I complain about my skin's dryness!  Though scrubbing once a week is recommended, scrubs and micro-beads give me the chills!  One Scrub I've always wanted to try is the Garnier Skin Naturals Brightening Scrub Wash.

2. Facial wash that has oil control

If I see "Oil Control" in any facial product, you bet I'll run the opposite direction!  Would you believe though that I grew up with Johnson's Clean & Clear Facial Wash?  I guess I am a big proof that an oily-skinned teenager can grow up to have dry-skin...Adolescence...ugh!

So yeah, I've spilled the beans on what I'm scared to try.  But dear oily-skinned friends out there!  Don't worry, the 2 products mentioned above have been used by our resident Mr. Askmewhats!  He's got the oilies!  I may interview him for reviews on the above two products!  Interested?  Give him the nudge!  *laughs*

AMW Reports: Fab, Fresh & Fun: A Summer Picnic

Do I need a break from Stress?  Of course!  Who doesn't?

And if relaxing means pampering myself with facials, makeovers and hair treatments with Maybelline, Garnier, Matrix  at The Grove by Rockwell, Count me In!

We can start our pampering journey by having a facial done by Garnier.  I gave this a skip because I am so excited for my hair treatment! 

Hair pampering using Matrix products.  I love it when Matrix Intensive Conditioner was massaged gently and left for a couple of minutes.  Washed, blow dried and finished up with a Matrix Serum which left my hair soft and bouncy!

Thanks Shobe for this shot!  If I may add, I am holding a vanilla ice cream by Nestle Heaven.  I had 2 cups of these (shhhh). 

After the blow dry and ice cream, I took off to the Maybelline counter and got my own "lei" and wait for my turn on makeover.

And it's my turn to have my makeover. Guess who did my makeup?  Same Maybelline Make-up artist whom I met last year from the same event done by Maybelline, Garnier and Matrix called Mission Accomplished: Be Stunning for a Steal !  Jim Ryan Ros!  It was great seeing him once again and I am very proud of his success!   He wanted to do a darker look on me but I told him I'm going nowhere right after.  So he opted for a more natural look instead using pink and purple.

An additional product was used on my face and I'm liking it!  Maybelline's BB Cream applied with Maybelline's Clear Smooth Minerals Liquid Foundation in Buff Beige.  I already love the effect it gives.  Clean and natural.

There's also a nail art booth by Nail Spa.  I skipped this step because I've recently done nail art myself  and I worked hard for it.  I can see a  lot of girls and even guys enjoying the nail spa experience!

The event serves good food by The Plaza, which I haven't taken a shot of it because I was busy eating.  Fruit Shakes by Big Chill and Shooters by Swizzle Bar (photo below)

Let me start by saying, I've met wonderful people in this event.

Trisha Chua from Maybelline and I told her I have a crush on her dress!

I also met Michelle Fernandez from Maybelline too, but wasn't able to take a shot!

Roanne from All The Vanity Blog.  It was great seeing her after, hmm..a year or more?  We had a bit of time to chitchat but she has to leave early, or maybe I came in late? :D

Camille from Your Little Beauty Bag and her husband.  It was great seeing her in person for the first time.

And of course, my partner in crime, Beauty Crime!  Shen!

I left The Grove around evening and  see how gorgeous the event area is!  Can't help but take a shot!

Thanks Maybelline, Garnier and Matrix for this event and for the pampering experience.  I walked out energize and smiling!
