Ah, Sephora Philippines recently sent me their newest Mascara available on their website from Too Faced.
Too Faced Cosmetics has been around for so many years and as much as I have great experience with their makeup products —- easpecially their eyeshadows. I haven’t tried a single mascara from the brand so this was perfect timing!
What it is:

Kat Von D, I have heard about this brand for the longest time but I never get to try or test them because of international shipping (I stay away from going to postal offices for pick ups!)

It comes with a nice applicator making it easy to define and apply on lips without dragging too much! KVD Beauty XO High Shine Lip Gloss lives up to the name, it is high shine and my lips look healthy and hydrated. Best of all? Non-sticky formulation and extremely lightweight.
Does it stay long? No, it transfers on mugs or cups and it transfer on masks too! It has a heavy scent which I usually dislike but it goes away after 10-15 minutes.
The positive thing I like about XO High Shine is how it is high shine yet it is pigmented enough to cover my original lip color!

Do you still remember my first UFO By Foreo review writtten a year ago? I even showed my Before and After photo after a week plus usage! Some of you may say: “But I don’t see a difference!” Or “You already have good skin!”
I feel and see the difference myself and I honestly may have good skin as they say but the time I got pregnant and was breastfeeding, I DID NOT USE any skincare products at all and I saw the real texture and condition of my skin —- it wasn’t Blog-worthy! It was so dry, flaky and there were a whole lot of zits growing aroud my lip area! I did not write or review any skincare products that time or did any makeup looks so there weren’t any record of my bad skin! It doesn’t help that I have PCOS so my hormones are crazy sometimes so I guess this short story is safe enough to say —- I wasn’t born with great skin! I just highly invest on my skin with the right products!
Speaking about products, UFO By Foreo released UFO 2 and at the back of my head, I was thinking: “Really? Is there anything else they needed to add from the first one?”

The most sought after make up brand as a Beauty Blogger/Enthusiast.
I remembered wanting/trying to get my hands on Kat Von D products but I just don’t have the means beause I don’t like to order online anymore as I need to pick them up at local post offices.
Resellers? There are a lot of them but I do not personally know legit ones and I am obviously afraid of fakes!
So thankful for Sephora because I can be assured of the authenticity of the makeup and skincare products.
So there…that is an intro! Hahaha Seriously, I was invited to KVD Beauty’s Online event 2 weeks ago and I learned so much from Nikki Wolf. Through the process of makeup application, there are 2 products I SUPER want to try! Their Tattoo Liner and these MODCON Liquid Gel Blush!
I hailed these the most unique blush texture I have tried to date ——

I personally haven’t tried any Ole Henriksen skincare products. I haven’t heard about the brand until I saw them launch at my favorite online Beauty Site - Sephora Philippines.
Ole Henrikson is a 70-year old Danish Skin Cosmetician and manufactured various skincare products to address skin concerns in a “clean” way. He moved to United States to open his first SPA.
I got the chance to try one of the many lines he created —- C-Rush Brightening Gel Cream, C-Rush Bright Eye Cream and Dark Spot Toner.
For a first few tries, I can tell how much I am loving the Dark Spot Toner as it works perfectly for our weather. It gives hydration at the same time matte finish after application. The C-Rush Brightening Bright Eye Cream is citrusy-smelling and applies smoothly ad like a dream on my undereye area. I find the C-rush Gel Cream to be on the creamy side rather than Gel. I felt a thickness so I apply this on nighttime instead of daytime as it remains sticky on my face for the whole day!

I got this Huda Beauty Sand Haze Palette from Sephora PH. I used to watch Huda Beauty on Youtube when I still have enough time but stopped for years since turning into a mom! That does not mean I am not updated with the industry though! I may not watch as many Youtube Videos as before but I still do duly research for updates on makeup trends and brands.
Huda Beauty, based from my research, rose to fame several years back. Their makeup and skincare line got raves and rants but I made sure to keep in mind their bestselling products. One of their bestsellers are their eyeshadows and I want to know why.
A basic and easy-to-use palette called Sand Haze is the way to go if you like a neutral and/or party looks in one.
There are 3 types of palette to choose from: Sand, Purple and Khaki.
According to Huda Beauty —-
This palette comes in 3 different colour stories. Each palette represents the off-duty chic street style scene, that is awash with muted tones of ecru, and cappuccino, tempered with darker, more serious colours like deep brown, khaki green, plus dashes of soft, sophisticated shimmer. Each palette contains beautifully buttery mattes, metallics, and shimmery eyeshadow toppers, in complementary shades of eyeshadow, designed to be used individually or together to create an array of arresting effects. The matte formula is pigmented, creamy to the touch, and seamlessly blends on the lid. The metallics have a creamy, richly pigmented, multi reflective, foil texture. For a subtle shimmer finish, apply with dense, flat eyeshadow brushes. For higher foil-like payoff, these work best with a damp eyeshadow brush/sponge brush or finger. The shimmer toppers, slightly sheerer than the metallics, were baked using a mix of finely milled pearls, to highlight and give an alluring pearlescent glow to the lids. For a subtle shimmer finish, apply with a dense, flat eyeshadow brush. For higher payoff, these work best with a damp eyeshadow brush/sponge brush or finger. The palettes come in a hard shell for extra durability and have a full-size mirror inside for on-the-go ease.
Here’s what I have to say after using this palette for months, without eyeshadow base, without ANYTHING BUT the Huda Beauty Palette.

I got the 6-piece set of mini Dear Dahlia Paradise Dream Velvet Lip Mousse via Sephora PH website and it was the best decision as I get to feel my favorite shade without spending a lot. Priced at Php980.00, I got 6 shades to work with and a tube would probably last me more than 15 uses because they are highly opaque and pigmented.

A closer look on all 6 swatches. The first 3 look almost similar to each other on my pigmented lips but if you have light colored lips, you’ll see the difference of each shade easily. Kindly check out my photo wearing each shade from top to bottom (from photo above). I apologize for not being able to name each shade because they are too small for my “aged eyes” LOL
Based from my eyesight, this one is the lightest shade among the 6 and I love this for the natural effect and youthful vibe it exudes. For the first time, I can wear such shade without much makeup on and look healthy.
