Weekend Food Trip at: Choi Palace Seafood and Shark's Fin Restaurant

This is an old food post at Choi Palace Seafood and Shark's Fin Restaurant located at Eastwood Mall.  We were invited by Keith's Aunt as his cousin graduated Magna Cum Laude!  Congratulations Maine, we are so proud of you!

This is actually my second time dining at Choi Palace, I apologize in advise for not being able to type down all the food details as this was a treat from Keith's Aunt and Uncle, so it is rude to ask for the menu and check the prices and dish details :) I hope you understand! :) This Sunday, let's just enjoy the look of yummy food!

AMW Reviews: Native Union Pop Phone

Something non-makeup related for a change!  Yay!  

I haven't been reviewing "tech" products for quite some time and it is a bit of a refreshing change!  I've seen the Pop phones years ago and thought: "That is so 80's!".  Until recently, when I start to recently enjoy the perks of technology using Viber, Face Time or Skype to update and chat with my family both here and abroad, I realized the Pop Phone is something worth investing for!

Native Union's Pop Phone comes in various colors, from Neon Pink, Neon Green, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow etc...to those who aren't into K.S.P. (Kulang sa Pansin) colors, they also have toned down shades like Mint, Jet Black, Aquamarine, Lavender.

Since I'm KSP and I want my Pop Phone to match my makeup brush belt and Hot Iron Holster, I went for Neon Pink!

If you are into makeup and makeup tools alike, you probably know the brand of these brushes at a glance!

I for one is not a stamp collector or whatever collector as a hobby but I'm starting to call myself a makeup and nail art brushes collector!  I know I have enough brushes at the moment for both personal and professional use but to be honest, I am not stopping there!  Owning good, quality makeup brushes is an investment and I can still remember the past years when I would save up for a single pricey brush just because I knew good brushes will take me a long way in my career as a makeup artist!  Thankfully, nowadays, more and more quality brushes are made available at an affordable price!  So lucky YOU who are starting to collect brushes or who are starting your career as a makeup artist, there will always be inexpensive alternative out there! 

Quick Tip: Transforming Your Concealer into a Highlighter

You are in a makeup counter, trying out different shades of concealers, you tediously applied the closest shade to your skin tone on your face and after several decision making in your head, you finally found the perfect match!  You went ahead and purchase it.  

The next day, you excitedly applied your newly-purchased concealer and realized the concealer enhanced your flaws even more as it is a shade or 2 too light on you.

That's a normal situation for makeup buyers like myself especially when I was just starting out on makeup!  That's why I've created a "QUICK TIP" post for quick and easy techniques on how NOT to waste your money on wrong purchases!  I know in some countries, it is easy to return the item/s but since we aren't the lucky bunch, we end up with extra products we can't use saying bye-bye to our hard-earned money.

AMW Reviews: Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me (First Kiss)

When Happy Skin Cosmetics was launched, they were going viral not only on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook!  I'm starting to see them on TV as well!  Imagine, getting interviewed by the Queen of Media Ms. Kris Aquino, the brand is definitely going big!  

I was able to try the Happy Skin Moisturizing Lippie and I have been using it a couple of times going out, I gave a positive review on their lip products so I can't wait to test their blush called Get Cheeky With Me!  Okay, let's hand it to them for coming up with unique and cute names but as always, here on AMW, cute packaging and unique name won't make it to the cut, the quality has to be good for me to be able to say....the product is worth purchasing! 

Packaging reminds me of The Balm, the size and pan of the blush screams Shu Uemura!
