Happy Monday AMW Friends!
Okay, this cover photo deserves a slow-clap! I managed to create such a "longing" look at parang close na close talaga kami ni BCDation no?
Yes, Finally, I am ready, super ready to share my review on Tony Moly's BCDation All Master Air Light Base But Perfect base product! One of the most requested product to review based on statistics (naks!) :P
Why BCDation the name you say?
Well, they have a reason for such weird name! *laughs*
B stands for BB Cream, C for CC Cream which gives a moisturizing property and Dation means Foundation! This product can give you good coverage.
Sounds too good to be true right? Well, read on and see if this product is worth the hype!
Tony Moly BCDation says ---
The BCDation All Master is the improved version of last year’s BCDation.
Still an all-in-one product of BB Cream, CC Cream, and Foundation, the
new formula is now added with three ampoule capsule that conceals facial
lines, thus promoting a youthful glow. Its formulation contains 45%
nourishing serum base which covers skin imperfection with a
porcelain-like finish. BCDation All Master is clinically approved by
Korea Dermatology Research Institute as a safe and effective
non-invasive option to face lifting and wrinkle removal.
Shades available: 2 shades

Pros
- Packaging.
- Coverage. Build-able from light to almost full coverage.
- Effect is dewy yet very natural.
- Works so well alone, even better when partnered with concealer and foundation for the best coverage.
- Does not make my dry skin appear drier.
- Applies nicely on skin, no irritations or allergic reactions.
- Has SPF30 PA++, on lazy days, I can actually get away without a separate sunblock.
- Gives a "thick and heavy" feel on first 3 minutes.
- Only 2 shades available, none for darker skin tone.
- Transfer to clothing so be careful!
- May create white cast if not set properly.
Though I can't differentiate this from other BB / CC creams I tried, I love the fact that Tony Moly BCDation is a 3-in-1 product (BB cream, CC cream and Foundation) and a whole lot more! The product gives skin benefits which I like to experience after long term usage. The coverage is really good and the product applies seamlessly giving the skin a naturally smooth coverage.
Tips
from Tony Moly
- After using primer, release appropriate amount on cheek, forehead, nose and jaws and smooth over it.
- Dab several times where more blemishes are.
- Use concealer for more delicate cover up.
- I use fingers on most BB/CC creams application, for BCDation, I prefer to use a wet BeautyBlender (or similar) so that I won't apply too much of the product.
- 1 pump is enough for the whole face. A little definitely goes a long way.
- After applying all over, let it "set" for at least 2-3 minutes before you go to the next step (ex. Concealer/foundation application). I like to fix my brows while I wait for this product to set.
- Too light and afraid of white cast? Adjust the color by using a darker powder/liquid foundation.
- If you suffer from dry skin, use moisturizer prior to BCDation application.
- If you have extremely oily skin, use an oil-control primer or before you go to the next step, set this product with a translucent powder.
Yes.
To whom do I recommend this to?
Fair skinned users who like a good coverage.
Where to purchase and how much?
Priced at Php1,198.00 (approx $27.00) available at Tony Moly stores near you.

Closer look on the pump packaging.
Do not forget to wipe off excess product after every use.
The texture of Tony Moly BCDation is a bit thin and almost-runny.
But, upon application, it has a slightly thicker texture thus giving more coverage.
I like to use a wet sponge, for this, I used Nippon Pro Blend Sponge (wet)
to make it appear more natural and less "fair".
Half Face Test
For the first few minutes, my skin (with Tony Moly BCDation) appears very fair! The coverage is quite good as it lessened redness around my skin and the darkness under the eye.
I only need to keep in mind to let this product sit for a couple of minutes before I proceed on my next "face" step.
I only need to keep in mind to let this product sit for a couple of minutes before I proceed on my next "face" step.
After letting the product set for at least 3 minutes, it blends into my skin seamlessly and the effect is more natural! I still find the product a bit light on me as compared to my neck, I prefer to adjust it by using a shade or 2 darker powder foundation to "set".
After reading this review, how do you feel about Tony Moly's newest product called BCDation?
Do you prefer multiple-functions product or just a simple straightforward product that can address specific skin issues?
When it comes to skincare, I like to target specific skin issues but when it comes to makeup, I prefer multiple functions because I'm always in a hurry!

Definitely multi-functional product for me. I want a base makeup product that does a lot of things that's why I tend to prefer BB creams as opposed to foundations because they have more "good" benefits in them.
