I have been scouring for good hotels and buffet all over the Metro for quite some time, little did I know I missed one right across Greenbelt 1 called Makati Diamond Residences. Aside from providing serviced apartment and smart luxuries of a business hotel, they are also gearing up to be a "dining destination" with their unique offering called Champagne Brunch Buffet.
Held at Alfred Restaurant, you get various offerings of Champagnes to choose from and you can east as much of you want of the premium dishes served!
Over the weekend, I was invited by them to sample their Weekend Champagne brunch with fellow blogger friends!
What to expect?
A selection of their finest Jamon Serrano and Jamon Iberico from Spain.
If you want to indulge yourself more into different types of dishes, you may head on to their bread and cheese station.
The buffet spread does not end there, you get rich pasta dishes, vegetables....
And once your tummy is ready for meat, hover on to their carving station for rack of lamb ,
or Angus Ribeye!
You also get some fresh catch of Grilled Prawns and vegetables on the side.
The cutest spread of all is the Cochinillo, roast suckling pig, that is slow-roasted for hours and you get tender juicy pork with crispy skin on the exterior.
Aside from that, they also have Bagnet Rice topped with deep-fried pork belly with Bagnet on the side! It was so crispy I almost forgot what I was eating!
Of course, you can always go back with more Champagne options to end your meal with a warm, fuzzy tummy!

Overall, I'm not much of a champagne drinker but I personally enjoyed each of the drinks offered to me!
Will you consider this place to be a Valentine's Day place?
