Poise Makeup Professional Look

One great thing about being a Beauty Blogger is that, I get first dibs on products coming in our shores!  And recently, I got the chance to meet with people who brought in Poise Makeup Professional.

Now, who are they and why are they here?

Poise Makeup Professional just started over a decade ago and their cosmetic line caters to all skin tones and textures.  Now here's the best part, this brand is not only for regular makeup enthusiasts, these products are capable of meeting the needs of professional makeup artists too!

So I was able to play around with some of the Poise Makeup products and came up with this professional look!

Get to know the products I used and you'll get the understand what Poise Makeup Professional is all about!

Step 1: CINEMA TOUCH HD CRÈME Foundation
I have been very vocal about my love for HD foundation especially for my job as a makeup artist.  It looks seamless in person and on photos!  So I am so happy to announce that the brand offers magnetic palettes especially for MUAs like me.

I picked a "warm" palette that would suit most Filipinas and I love the fact that I can go on with mixing and matching to get the right shade for customers and...myself!

Euro Palette

Using the lightest "Beige-like" shade from the palette (ticked on photo), I apply a small amount all over my face concentration on areas that needed coverage.  What I like about this palette is the fact that it contains really warm, orange tone that can also double up as a corrector for my undereye circles!  So no concealer needed as the coverage is build-able so I just use the same foundation to conceal spots and redness.

Step 2: Mineral Pressed Powder
Because of the heavy coverage from HD Cream Foundation, I followed with a light weight pressed powder that "sets" the base instead of overpowering the "demi-matte" effect the cream foundation gives!  I like to use this immediately after foundation to set everything in place.  The shade MPP30 is a tad bit darker on me which I intentionally pick to warm up my sallow skin.

Can you see how it immediately give that "bronzey" look?  This powder can also be used to contour the face.

Step 3: Mineral Pressed Cheek Color
These come in palettes but one shade caught my attention!  One of the most subtle pink shade I own called "Seattle" and this is the only type of pink blush that would work on my skin without looking like I piled up on blusher!

If you wonder why I applied blush before doing my eye makeup, it is because I want to create an inspiration for the eyes after seeing how the blush looks on me.

Step 4: Mineral Pressed Eye Color
With a lot of shades to choose from, I went ahead and picked the most "professional" color ---  Taupe (lighter shade) and Coco (Darker shade).

Taupe is a universal cool-tone gray shade that can double up as a contour powder, Coco on the other hand is matte dark brown shade perfect to deepen eyes.

With a eyeshadow blending brush, I applied Taupe all over the crease to create a deep-crease effect.

Using a pencil brush, apply Coco on the outer-V to make my eyes appear larger than usual.
Don't forget to apply the same shadows on the lower lashline.

I applied a thin liner for a professional-feel.  Curl the lashes and I'm good to go!

With just 2 shadows and a whole lot of layering and blending, Mr. AMW said this is by far his favorite eye makeup look from me! (Yes guys, may say siya! :P)

Step 5: Liquid Matte Lipstick
Poise Makeup Professional has various lip products --- from Hydrating Luxe Lipsticks to Lip glosses, Lip pencils and my favorite --- Liquid Lipsticks (Oh so Millenial!)

Shade: Notorious
A deep red liquid matte lipstick that is HIGHLY pigmented, long-wearing and doesn't flake or dry up my lips!
