After almost 10 years of blogging about Beauty, seeing, touching, looking at makeup still excites me! And the Max Factor Crème Puff Blush is no exception!
For someone who has sallow (aka "boring" skin), adding a color on my cheek gives me the "life" I deserve! It's like instant caffeine-fix for my face! Adding the right flush of color will make me look younger (at times) and more cheerful!
The Max Factor Crème Puff Blush is a lightweight, baked formula blush that contains finely milled, multi-tonal pigments that blend evenly.
And I got myself shade Alluring Rose.
According to Max FactorX ---
Baked formula –features a soft, velvet smooth feel and allows for a lightweight end look.
Finely milled, multi-tonal pigments - complement and enhance skin tones, while ultra-fine particles blend effortlessly for controllable contouring and buildable natural colour.
There are a total of 6 shades to choose from: Lovely Pink, Nude Mauve, Seductive Pink, Lavish Mauve, Alluring Rose and Gorgeous Berries.
Swatch: Alluring Rose
Dark berry with peachy pink undertones
On my skin, Alluring Rose appears to be like a bronzer with an added hint of rose pink color. This particular shade would go well for users with medium to dark complexion.
Before and After
My skin appears warmer and has more dimension.
Overall, I would call the new Max Factor Crème Puff Blush as a multi-tasking cheek product, it doubles up as a contour and blush powder. It gives a nice pop of color on cheeks but the effect is very natural. If you are opting for more dimension to your face, these are build-able so feel free to apply 3-4 layers and the result will still be natural!
What I noticed is the gorgeous slight sheen the blush gives which appears like you have a good lighting right next to you wherever you go.
As for staying power, it stays for good 4-6 hours on normal skin, users with oily skin may need to set this properly or just reapply anytime of the day!
Overall, I am in love with how natural Alluring Rose look and will definitely try out other shades!

Interesting. I may try it but definitely not alluring rose. That kind of shade looks 'dirty' on my skin. I may go for a pink one though.
ReplyDeleteahh at least you know what would work for you na
DeleteIs this truly a dupe for Hourglass blushes/bronzers?
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, I do not own an Hourglass yet so I can't tell :D
Deleteive got the alluring rose shade and i love it, last all day and you dont need to put highlighter because it already has shimmers.
