Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer SPF20 Review

Hi AMW Friends!
After a long while, I'm finally posting a review for a face primer!  As much as I dislike to use face primers on a daily basis, I highly depend on them professionally as a Make Up Artist.

I lug so many primers because I use primers depending on skin condition of my clients.  And I personally test each of them before putting them in my professional KIT just because I want the best for my customers.

I got the Max Factor Facefinity All Day Primer with SPF20 last year, it took me a while to test this out since the weather is quite cool for the first 2 months of 2017, I had to wait for the weather to really get hot and humid before I can finally share my final thoughts.

AMW says ---

Pros
  • Packaging!  The glass bottle packaging with a pump is really nice!
  • The pump has a "Lock" which makes it safe to tote along during travel.
  • Very lightweight.
  • Great for all skin types!
  • Liquid and runny texture so the foundation applies smoothly.
  • None of those silicone-like texture.  The feel is the like of a lightweight moisturizer.
  • No white cast of flash photography.
  • Gets absorbed into the skin easily without marks.
  • Foundation lasts longer. (around 3-4 hours longer for normal and dry skin, probably can stretch 1-2 hours for users with oily skin)
  • A nice product to use for those with fine lines and wrinkles as this product can blur out those harsh lines.
Cons
  • Plastic lid doesn't close tightly so it gets lost in my bag during travel.
  • Does not completely blur our pores.
  • Still contains silicone but doesn't have that texture, but users who are allergic to silicone ingredient may not do well with this product.
  • Has a slight scent that I can't seem to pinpoint.

Overall
A silicone based primer that doesn't have that silicone-texture.  Works in terms of blurring out a bit of fine lines, extend the wear of your foundation and gives that natural "glow" from a moisturizer.

Tips
  • Best to apply primer after your skincare routine.
  • Can use your fingers in application, sponge or brush.  I personally like the flat foundation brush in application.
  • Apply more on areas that needed oil-control like T-zone and sides of the nose and chin.
  • Primers do not need to be applied all over face, you can apply only on areas that needed oil-control or some blurring action to let the rest of your skin breathe.
Will I repurchase?
No. Will try other primers.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Normal, combination and dry skin.  Users with sensitive skin must do a patch test as some of the ingredients may cause allergic reactions.

Where to purchase and how much?
Available in all Max Factor counters near your priced at Php925.00 (approx $8.00).  Also available online at Zalora.

After application, best to let it set and sit for a couple of minutes by doing your brows or hair before you apply your foundation/concealer.
