I remember seeing the whole Facetone Cover Fix Line at Tony Moly branch at Lucky Chinatown. "I want them all!" is what I remembered telling myself but I've decided to pick the Facetone Cover Fix Concealer (Php378.00) instead because I use up concealer more often than foundations!
Housed in quite a large tube considering this is just a concealer, it actually has 20g worth of Concealer and loving the tube packaging!
According to the SA, it comes in 2 shades: W01 Vanilla Beige and W02 Natural Beige. Unfortunately, the shade I'm sure that would match me (Natural Beige) is out of stock and I can't seem to wait any longer, I went ahead to pick Vanilla Beige and crossed my fingers and toes, hoping this would work!
Housed in a squeeze-type tube with a sharp tip! I am liking the packaging already! Now, pushing the "Formal" look aside (almost like a medication from a drugstore) design, I am definitely ready to test this out because I was told this is a high coverage concealer and I get full pigmentation in just a little dot!
Tony Moly Says ---
A creamy, full-coverage concealer that won't
ever crease, flake or leave you wanting more.
Comes with SPF30 PA++
(A bit surprised as most concealers I own do not have such high SPF)
Swatch: W01 Vanilla Beige
After using this product for several times, here are my thoughts ---
- Pigmentation is really high! I would say it covers 40% in just a single swipe.
- The thing is that, the shade choices is limited, I wish they have more because the quality is next to professional level.
- A little goes a LONG way!
- W01 Vanilla Beige is a bit light when used on my undereye darkness, it gives coverage but at the same time works as a highlighting product.
- Can brighten up complexion.
- Has matte finish yet it doesn't dry out my skin.
Half-Face Test
Can you see how much brighter my "checked" undereye area was?
Before And After
On photos, this looks quite amazing in terms of coverage and "Brightening Power". In person I find this shade a bit too light for me making my eye area appears more puffy than usual! What I usually do is to "correct" the tone with a peach/salmon colored concealer before applying this product on top! I also like to use a tiny amount because using too much will make the area look obviously "made-up". This product definitely has high coverage and staying powder!
I highly recommend everyone to check out the Tony Moly Facetone Line! I have one Facetone product to review next time! For now...if you want to hear more tips and tricks from me --- IN PERSON WITH DEMO! Feel free to join me this coming Friday at Tony Moly branch SM North EDSA, details below!
I have Instagram contest giving away 5 free slots! https://www.instagram.com/askmewhats/ |
Let me know your thoughts if I should keep the Facetone Cover FIX Concealer in Vanilla Beige or try to look for Natural Beige in other branches!
