Makeup World Cover|Up Pressed Powder Review

The battle of a good pressed powder or setting powder continuous!  It has always been a fight between users with dry skin or oily skin!  Oily skin individuals of course are looking for ones that set really well and controls oil while we (dry skin represent!)  are looking for setting powders that are non-drying yet makes our skin looks radiant, healthy and glowing!

How difficult it is to find one that works for both skin type?

I think I did, but I just wish they come in more shades!

The Makeup World Cover|Up Pressed Powder
Php299.00 (approx $6.60)

A long-wearing, buildable and mattifying powder that covers skin imperfections and evens out your skin tone.

Packaged in a very sleek and simple round compact.  It is made in plastic but it doesn't look cheap and I love the matte finish.

The compact has a compartment for sponge!  Always a great idea since I dislike having my dirty and used sponge right on top of the powder.

I got the shade NUDE

Nude is the darkest shade because the other 2 (Ivory and Natural) has more pink tone to it and this is the only warm shade pressed powder.

For something that is called a "Pressed Powder", I find this to have a good coverage!  This photo was taken just when I was breaking out (yes friends!  I do breakout like a teenager once a month!).  And look at my after photo!  It covers some of the redness, evens out my skin and my skin looks fresh and healthy!

As for longevity, retouch is needed when you're mostly outdoors, let's say this will last max of 3 hours if you have oily skin (a bit of retouching on the oily zones) while having dry skin has its' benefit of not retouching much!

The Makeup World Cover Up Pressed Powder does not dry out my dry, flaking skin.  At the same time, it does help set my makeup and create a flawless finish!  The only downside I can find for this line is the limited shades!  During the launch, both me and my fellow Beauty Bloggers have a hard time picking the shade!

What I can recommend though, since the price is affordable, is to purchase 2 shades for mixing and matching.

Overall, this is a great product I would highly recommend for girls who are into pressed powders to wear!  This can be worn as is and if you prefer flawless finish, use a concealer and foundation underneath and set with pressed powder for additional coverage!
