Benefit Turned 6 and I was thankful enough to always get the chance to celebrate with them! I remembered celebrating their first birthday at the same branch - Greenbelt with baby Kyle inside my tummy! So fast forward to today, Kyle is almost 5 years old and Benefit is 6 in the Philippines! I don't know about you but I felt the connection because I was actively going around different branches to do workshops while pregnant! So Benefit is like my Big Daughter while Kyle is the little brother!
Talk about the Big Daughter, there's more reason to celebrate than just being 6! The Greenbelt branch went through an overhaul and the store is bigger and better than ever! You have to visit them to see and believe!

According to Benefit, this will help solve POREblem! I have to agree though as the regular Benefit POREfessional Balm has always been a staple of mine when I do makeup on clients! I use tubes after tubes helping clients reduce the look of pores at the same time smoothen out the skin's surface. They always ended up touching their face getting amazed.
The new POREfessional Pearl Primer has the same cream consistency like the regular one and thie time the product is light pink (same color as the tube) and if you look closely, it has tiny shimmers which are almost invisible to the naked eye.
If you are aiming for somewhat similar to my favorite That Gal Primer, well, this is more subtle and natural. What's the difference between this and the original version?
It looks almost the same, too similar I almost didn't appreciate it until I continue with the rest of my makeup and take photos! The original POREfessional balm helps keep your skin MATTE-looking and lessen the size of your pores (if there's any). As for the Pearl Primer, it gives a certain radiance that you can see on certain angles, especially if you're taking photos in front of a good lighting. It gives a certain amount of radiance minus the obvious sparkles and shimmers.
If the original POREfessional balm is meant to be used on certain areas around your face just to cover up oilies and pores, I highly suggest to use the Pearl Primer ALL OVER to see the effect.

Okay, side by side with the original version and pearl primer, well, don't quote me, but here's my take between the two. If you prefer to have MATTE, POREless looking skin and you have oily skin - go for the Original POREfessional Balm. If you are like me, you have dry skin/normal skin and aims for radiant-looking skin especially since pores aren't your issue? This may be the answer to you prayer!
