Cathy Doll Magic Gluta Pact Review

Cathy Doll offers a couple of Powder Pact and one of my favorite is the CC series called Color Correct.

This year, they came up with a newer powder pact called Magic Gluta Powder Pact.  Checking them out online, I noticed this is actually NOT a new product but a repackaged one!  This used to be housed in a cute, girly-type of packaging with a doll printed on top of the compact.  This year, they made it more professional-looking.

Housed in a metallic pink packaging (similar as the Karmart store in Thailand), I like it that this product appears more professional yet still works for those who wanted a younger, cheerful vibe.

Cathy Doll Magic Gluta Pact  Says ---

This powder pact provides naturally radiant skin with the combination of L-Glutathione and Vitamin C Complex and offers great coverage with smooth finish as well as 50 times sun protection.

Pros

• Packaging.
• Gives up to medium coverage.  You only need to layer to achieve more coverage.
• Skin looks healthy and vibrant.
• Has SPF50, gives ample sun protection.
• Can cover certain redness and undereye dark circles.

Cons

• Can dry out skin if not moisturized properly pre-application.
• Can create white cast due to high spf content.

Overall
A great powder pact to set liquid/cream foundation with additional coverage or used alone if you prefer natural finish.

Tips

• For more coverage, apply with a sponge.
• For light coverage or used as a setting powder, apply with a powder brush.
• Hydrate your skin with moisturizer before application if you have dry skin or combination skin (normal/dry)
• Wash puff at least once a month to prevent bacteria build-up.

Will I repurchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Better to be used by users with normal or oily skin.

Comes with a separate compartment for the powder puff.

For application, I prefer more coverage and do a patting motion.  

As a retouch powder, I prefer to use a flat top kabuki brush.

The only downside I can say about this product is that it may dry out users with dry skin, I did this on purpose for you to see the effect but feel free to check out my TIP OF THE DAY on how to deal with such issues.  Better yet, hydrate your skin properly prior to makeup application with moisturizer.
