The most-buzzed movie for the year (in my opinion) is Crazy Rich Asians. Would you believe I haven't gotten the chance to watch it? But trust me, I kind of know what Crazy Rich Asians do because I am surrounded by a lot of them in my line of work.
You know why I'm talking about the movie all of a sudden? Because I was lucky enough to receive a makeup line called Christina Choi Cosmetics straight from San Francisco (speaking, I missed San Francisco!)
Christina Choi is an Asian American makeup guru who developed a line of cosmetics to address the challenges Asian women often face with mainstream makeup.
One item that I think was able to answer OUR major concern is their Deluxe Stamp Brush. I'll talk about it more later, as for now, let me show you my "Daily version" of a Crazy Rich Asian look!
Okay, I did say I tried my very best. Now let's talk about the Choi Cosmetics makeup items I used to create this simple yet colorful look!
Christina Choi Eyeshadow
$22.00 each
I got 2 shades to try, Chandelier and Starlet
Swatches
These eyeshadows are pressed eyeshadows with silky smooth texture. Thankfully, these are cruelty-free and are not tested on animals! I know some of you wanted to go for that route so I make sure to let you know!
These are non-drying shadows that can actually work even without primer underneath. I am normal-lidded so it's okay not to use eyeshadow primer! But, if you are oily-lidded, I still highly recommend primers.

Before I show you how I apply the eyeshadows. I'm most happy about this brush! Christina Choi Cosmetics have a total of 6 brushes for now and I'm glad I was able to try their Deluxe Stamp Brush ($28.00). This is actually a tightly packed flat bristled brush that is designed for small lids.
A closer look
I like to use Chandelier as a base. I apply it thinly all over my lid not going beyond the crease as shown on photo below.
I also applied a small amount of the same shadow shade on the lower lashline.
Using my favorite Starlet shade, I "stamp" the product building intensity depending on your preference.
Now you all know how much I love to multi-task a single product. Since Starlet has the right amount of color and a slight lilac base (you all know how much I love that shade for my cheeks!) I apply a small amount of it on my cheeks with a stippling brush!
Christina Choi Cosmetics Luxe Cream Crayons
$26.00
Shade: Sweet Confection
Sweet Confection is a vivid peach with slight sheen lip color. It is very creamy and glides easily even on my dry lips and has a demi-matte finish.
Actually, this lip crayon can also double up as a blush if you are opting for cream blush!
DONE!
I haven't done any colorful looks lately but this was a nice change and I wore this look over the weekend!
Thank you so much http://www.christinachoicosmetics.com for trusting my blog to feature your products. I really enjoyed using them and will keep on using them!
How do you like my FOTD?
Keep smilin'
I love this post! Thanks for sharing the colors and usage.
