I met Bobbi Brown's Crushed Liquid Lip

If you finally found a feel-good formula for a lip product, you embrace it right away and wear it on a Monday!

That's how I felt when I first tried the newest Crushed Liquid Lip from Bobbi Brown.

This has been around for quite some time because my very good friend (Blogger Friend from Malaysia) Paris B of My Women Stuff reviewed these last May  and I got to know about this product through her!  When she posted how much she loved these, I knew I will love them even more!  

The product is housed in a usual liquid lipstick type of packaging with a unique applicator.  I love that the applicator is slanted and how I can easily apply without over-lining my lips!  The tip is just perfect to define my lips as I fill the rest of the product in!

There are a total of 14 shades in this collection, Bobbi Brown divided them into 3 categories ---

• Bold Berries (Big Apple, Cherry Crush, In a Jam, Cool Beets, Haute Cocoa)
• Fun Brights (Mango Mood, Main Squeeze, Peach & Quiet, Bittersweet)
• Lush Nudes (Smoothie Move, Give a Fig, Juice Date, Lychee Baby, Hippy Shake)

I got Main Squeeze which is part of the Fun Brights category which is (honestly) my least favorite for the year.  I am into nudes, browns and neutrals nowadays so seeing my big lips bright and sparkly appears uncomfortably different for me.  

BUT, upon seeing how I looked on photos even on IG Stories during my unboxing, I realized, hey, I got to bright myself back into using bright colored lippies once again!

But let's not judge this based from the color, Main Squeeze is super saturated.  I get an opaque color straight from tube to lips in a single swipe!  And that's not all, I honestly believe Bobbi Brown when they said that these are comfortable and has a smooth finish - because this really does!  I can apply this alone on a very dry, parched lips and I will feel the immediate comfort and my lips instantly hydrated.  

For a super emollient and rich moisture lip product, it surprised me that this lasted me through eating and drinking with a bit of fading, the shine actually disappears a bit making me love this lip product even more (you know when you have big lips, you steer clear from glossy lip products!) , so the smartest way to apply this is just on the center of my lips and gently blur out the outer corner of my lips with my fingers!  Then if I like to remove the excess shine, I just blot once with a clean tissue and I'm a happy camper!
