Absolute New York Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Review

So this is the time for me to test the products that are laying on top of my "Products To Review" table!  I had a hard time testing on eyeliner pencils whenever I go out as I'm scared if the pencil liner fails me!  How could I go around with smudging eyeliner?  (Well, looking back, I did!  SO MANY TIMES!)  

Since my day is still packed with schedule and it gets more intense by the day, I tested the Absolute New York Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil for a full week!  So yes, I am walking around the house with ---

1. Tightlined eyes

2. Winged-liner

3. Natural looking eyeliner

Yup!  Done them all!

When you go on Absolute New York International website, you'll find different shades availability making this a PRO makeup product.  Then, my eyes went straight to Cruelty-Free and Vegan which made me happy!  These are Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, Phthalate Free and Fragrance Free making this a nice product to use especially for the sensitive eye area.

The pencil itself is soft, it glides easily and smoothly upon application so sharpening is definitely needed before use!  

The pencil is highly pigmented and you get a rich color without having to go over the area again and again!

I like the shade that I go which is brown, they have Dark Brown option on website and I wish and pray hard it will be available locally because I wanted something in between Black and Brown and Dark brown is definitely my go-to choice for daily wear.

Now, let me share to you my experience of using this ----

This product is smudge-proof.  I tried working out and cooking wearing this and so far, it didn't transfer to my lids or worst, migrate to my eyebags area.  But, I have to remind users who are hooded lids to stay away from pencil liners as much as possible, because I think this will still smudge on them because of the smooth, waxy texture of the pencil.

As for oily-lidded users, you can still use this by setting the product with an eyeshadow or translucent powder just to "lock it in".  

For me, for an inexpensive eyeliner pencil, this works!  I love the texture, how pigmented it is and how it does not tug my eyelids on every single application.  I also like the fact that my eyes does not itch or have allergic reactions.  

The product won't smudge or smear on normal lidded individual but the when applied on waterline, the product may disappear midday.  So not tear-proof for sure!

Overall, I highly recommend this product especially if you're looking for something that is inexpensive and won't trigger allergic reactions to your sensitive eyes!  

If you are scared to have panda eyes, go for this shade because if smudging or smearing happens, it won't be that obvious as compared to BLACK!
