I thought celebrities who are coming out with their own makeup and skincare line are making it out there due to the fact that they are ahm… CELEBRITIES!  How many percentage are people happy with the products they put out?

Well the pecentage gets higher!  I remembered buying Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty expecting to bash her but ended up loving it!

When Selena Gomez launced Rare Beauty, I have been meaning to try her Luminous Powder Blush because they just look too good on videos and photos!  

Now, I get it, it works even for non-celebrities!

• Bulky packaging.
• I wish it comes with a small brush or applicator for that of a bulky packaging.
• The powder is indeed silky-smooth and so easy to apply.  Can be applied using hands or sponge but best applicator is a big fluffy brush.
• Highly pigmented.
• High shine, so be careful to apply to the right spot as not to look oily.
• Best place to apply is on the cheekbones so the “glow” will appear on the upper cheekbones doubling up as blush with highlighting powder. 
• Very tricky to use for those with heavy hands.  It took a while for me to find the right placement for such unique blush.
• That said you have a VERY UNIQUE blush color and texture.  I own a lot of blush powders but this one screams DIFFERENT in a nice way.
• HOPE is described to be a nude Mauve but it somewhat appears a peach coral on my warm skin!  The blush part looks coral while the highlighted part has a hint of PINK tone making this a very nice highlighting product.
• Long-wearing, lasts until makeup removal!  Even when I perspire, this product stays!

Overall, this is worth the try!  I am not looking forward to own ALL the shades as I find the effect to be too much for me on regular days but I have found that using a super small brush to apply just the apples of my cheeks and nose bridge also works on casual days!
