Revlon Sugar Sugar was said to be part of the "limited" edition (as I was told) but it has been a year now and I can still see this available in all Revlon counters.
Revlon Sugar Sugar Lip Topping Says ---
Sugary, iridescent pearl powder topcoat decorates lips with a crystal-cut faceted effect.
Askmewhats says ---
Let me show you through pictures first, here's how the whole thing looks like.
The applicator is hard (not brush type) as shown picture below
Here's my hand as swatch, left side is a clear gloss and the right side is clear gloss topped with the Revlon Sugar Sugar lip topping (yes, it literally looks like sugar, the texture is the same as salt though...no taste)
Here's my lips, with colored gloss...
And here's the same gloss as above topped with Revlon Sugar Sugar lip topping
Pros
Cons
Tip
There's one tip in using this, after you apply the Sugar Sugar lip topping, top it again with a clear gloss and you'll definitely have this "iridescent" effect as promised.
Will I repurchase?
No, as this li'l bottle can last for a long long time.
- this product is indeed good for glosses, when topped, it is more glittery
- can stick to all kinds of lip products (lipstick, lipgloss, lip balms, etc...)
- you can change the look of any lip color you have on
Cons
- the packaging is cute but it's not feasible to bring along
- the applicator is hard to apply, you have to clean it after every application (Note: dip, apply, clean, dip, apply, clean again....)
- for dry lips individual, this may not be that suitable for you, as it'll help FLAKE your lips more
- Pricey!

ReplyDeleteLizzz, it's actually ok that you missed it, it's a good product but not the greatest :)
ReplyDeleteYummy411, thanks so much for the comment, and thanks for loving the nails :)
Well, I decided to buy Revlon Sugar Sugar and give it a try. I saw it at Big Lots for $2, so I though, what the hell, i'll give it a try. At first I thought it was a friggen eye highlighter (for right underneath the brow bone). Sure as hell didn't work well at all. Then I read the back of the bottle and it says some shit about lips. So I put on some on top of my clear lipgloss, and it looks like a cluster-fuck of crusty shit! Good grief. So I wiped it off and dryed my lips. Then I simply put it on as a powder, and it looks friggen great! So as long as your lips aren't naturally crusty and dry, try it out as a powder without any gloss. Looks angelic! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Aussiechic06, thank so much for the info, I'll give it another try :)
