I am in love with all my eyeshadows and I wanted all of them to have a good home as much as possible. I have my MAC pro palette and I am happy with it. (still filling it up at the moment). As seen in my previous haul, I've purchased 4 Ulta eyeshadows and for someone who needs to travel with their make-up and with such small traincase space, I really love depotting my e/s! But where shall I put them? I can't put them in my MAC pro palette as Ulta shadows, Elianto and the Face Shop e/s are all bigger than the regular MAC e/s size.
Good thing I've found a very good palette home to my bigger e/s! The Elianto 10pcs e/s palette!

Elianto has a couple of other "kinds" of eyeshadow and blushes palette. I chose this one because this is very slim and affordable! All palettes from Elianto are not magnetic, so you can either choose : Foam type (to fit the e/s in) or the Sticker type (wherein you'll use a double sided tape to tape your e/s inside. I chose the Foam Type, here's how it looks like inside...
Since I'm "no ordinary" gal, I wanted to decorate my simple palette, I was trying to find a big sticker big enough for the whole palette, but to no avail, I can't seem to find any at that moment and I am in desperation to be creative (yes, if something came up to my mind, I have to acknowledge it right away or else..bye bye ideas! lol), I went to the National Bookstore and went to the "scrapbooking" section and bought "border" stickers instead. As seen below, the designs are different but what the heck? I want it unique and creative!!! Thanks to my hubby for helping me cut this so perfectly...if I did this on my own...well..I won't even post it! LOL

The palette is nice! I have never head of Elianto. Is that a Filipino brand?

ReplyDeleteTine, really? Thanks for the correct info! I get soo confused! when i go to shops and ask them, they'll tell me it's Malaysian brand, I guess because their HQ is in KL! Even their website is confusing! gosh, but I do remember reading one blog, I think from ParisB or someone else, that this is a korean brand! Gosh I am more confused than ever! thanks Tine :)

ReplyDeleteNikki, yes, another Nikki and I've been living in PI all my life! You bet that MAC is so expensive, all cosmetics are expensive down here, but yeah, I got most of my products here, and the others, well, I either order online or ask my friends who are in the states to help me buy! :)

i've seen some other newer version of the palette, it's white colour with some cute images on the lid. have u seen it?
Maria, hi, thanks for the visit and the comment, yes other brands fit, that's why it's worth it, the worst could happen is you can just remove the foam altogether and you can fit more e/s! :) Yes, I've seen the white version but i like the black ones as it's slimmer and sleeker! the white ones have mirrors, so it's bulky :) but it does look cute! :)

ReplyDeleteI got my first empty palette just a while ago, the MAC pro palette. Since I didn't have any MAC shadows and the ones I did have were of various sizes and shapes, I ended up taking out the 'tray'.

LOL coz I personally never used ULTA e/s so I want to make sure they are really of good quality before I buy more! So far, I love them! So i'm hitting myself why I didn't order more! ReplyDeleteMhean, no you won't have problems with it as the foam is not the flimsy kind of quality, it is of good quality and i even had a hard time pressing it in as it is very tight! it fits PERFECTLY!!! this is way better than the "double sided tape" one..you'll love this! Sis Shen has this as well! and she filled it all in!

All Elianto e/s palette can fit ULTA eyeshadows, just make sure to look for the EYESHADOW palette as they have blush palettes as well :) I'm not sur eif the 40empty palette are all eyeshadows, I believe they've got mixed with blushes as well :) so ask your cousin to check on it :)
ReplyDeleteElianto. very affordable. Going to buy the e/s! :D Anyway, it is a Malaysian brand, but they have their products to be manufactured in Korea. So, might be mistaken as Korean products. Huhu. Thats what hv been heard from their launching ceremony. :)
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness....I love your palettes. I've been looking for inexpensive empty palettes that can hold my Ulta e/s and MAC pro palette doesn't do the help though. I'm so frustrated about looking for empty palettes. Is there a way I could buy these Elianto palettes here in the US? Btw, I'm a Filipina who recently moved here in the U.S. I guess when I left PI, they don't have Elianto stores yet...I'm not so sure though
