(and a lot more out there, sorry if I forgot to mention).
I've read so many reviews about this famous water-based make-up remover before I've decided to purchase one myself. I blame it to pure curiosity as well and of course my love of removing make-up completely to keep my skin healthy and young-looking! :D

This cute saying made me smile!
Ready for bed as soon as possible!
Can this be true?
Color looks like mixed starch on water :D

Pros
Cons
Overall
A lot of bloggers rave about this and call this their HG makeup remover. I can see why as it easily removes ALL traces of make-up! BUT, like I stated at the CON corner, it does not complete remove waterproof mascara. Though the product states "Ready for bed as soon as possible", I find that I still need to wash my face with a facial cleanser to make sure all traces of make-up are removed.
This is a wonderful product for make-up artist though, if you made a mistake, you can easily use this cleanser to wipe it off and re-apply the make-up without having trouble compared to using an oil-based make-up remover.
Tips
Philippine Readers:
I know most of you would like to try this product, but since this is not available locally and not everyone has access to online buying, you can always purchase L'oreal Gentle Lip and eye make-up remover. It works just as great and it costs approx Php335.00 (approx $7.00) and I just saw L'oreal booth has 15% off! :) I realized I haven't had the chance to review this make-up remover, I will do soon! :) But it works really well and not oily at all! :D
Will I repurchase?
YES!
Where did I purchase and how much
At Adam Beauty for $14.00 (approx $672.00) plus $2.00 (approx Php96.00) for registered shipping.

Pros
- Removes all traces of make-up
One Eye First wipe
- Stopper works great, easy to detach and re-attach
- Non-oily
- Does not sting or blur the eye. Please read caution on my tip area :D
- Quite affordable even with shipping, as you get 300ml of this product for a good price
- Packaging isn't cheap, made of good plastic and the packaging design is quite cute and simple
- No allergies after using this product
- No yucky scent
Cons
- does not completely remove waterproof mascara
- though this is an Age Care, I don't see any age care as this doesn't moisturize the face
- pump isn't feasible, no matter how careful I am in spritzing this to the cotton, the liquid tend to spray straight
- not available locally

Tips
- Caution: If you have scar or allergies on certain area of your face, DO NOT rub the make-up remover, try to go over the face with Mandom but try not to touch the areas that are sensitive, it may cause further allergies or skin reaction. Ex. last week, I have bad eye allergies and I tried using this to wipe some foundation on my under eye area, it HURTS! But after my allergies are gone, I did not find any irritation to this product.
- I advise wash your face after using this product.
- To make this product lasts longer, I use this to clean my eye makeup, cheeks and lips. Then wash the whole face with a facial cleanser.
- Decant the make-up remover to a smaller spray bottle so you won't waste product by spritzing it on another person's shirt! LOL
- Transferred smaller bottle can be easily brought along, fits my traincase perfectly :)

Happy Friday everyone!
I want to thank everyone who likes reading my reviews!
I like doing them as most of the products I've purchased,
are done because of reviews :)
It's my small way to help others too! :)
Stay Happy!

ReplyDeleteenjoy the coming weekends!
you always do a very nice and detailed review!! Thanks you!! :)
and I love L'oreal Gentle Lip and Eye MU remover too!! cheap and effective! :)) been using for about 4 years! great product! :))
thank you for this review! I have the Sebum one and I don't like it because it makes my skin feel really dry and it totally does not remove all makeup! I agree, the pump is really inconvenient, I always end up having the liquid fly through the air lol.
ReplyDeleteEveryone makes the Mandom products look so good! I need to take the plunge and buy!
ReplyDeleteThis Cleansing Lotion looks great! I have the same stuff by Neutrogena, but that not ver good
ReplyDeleteA lot of bloggers rave about this and call this their HG makeup remover. I can see why as it easily removes ALL traces of make-up! BUT, like I stated at the CON corner, it does not complete remove waterproof mascara.
ReplyDeleteWell, I believe they prefer the non-waterproof mascara on regular basis :P Thanks for the review, and same like you, I always choose a waterproof one since the city where I live has some serious dry season! LOL. If I wear the non-waterproof mascara in the morning, I'll have raccoon eyes by the noon due to lots of sweats! :D
Great Review Girl!
ReplyDeleteI have the mandom age care, but prefer the Sebum and Moist formulas, not as drying for me (at least)
and it removes most of makeup in a jiffy!
miRaCLe, I'm glad you like the L'oreal Makeup remover too :)
ReplyDeleteAudrie, same with me !I tried so hard to control the pump but I failed! HAHHAHAHHA it's like fun and games before you remove your make up :D
Toma, lol :) You may like it!
Anastacia, hmm..and I thought Neutrogena make-up removers are good, thanks for letting me know!
ReplyDeleteDevi, i know, in asian countries like ours, we should NEVER even touch or look at NON-waterproof mascaras! :D
Tia, maybe if I finish this up, I should give moist a try :) Thanks dear!
happy fri to u! :D
ReplyDeleteplue has recently reviewed another mandom, also bad at removing waterproof makeup. so i guess mandom won't be my primary choice :)
i agree, the pump is useless XD
ReplyDeleteThis product requires too much rubbing imo.. :[
ReplyDeleteI think the reason liquid squirming straight out (instead of straight down) isn't because of the pump, rather, it's the thickness of the liquid...since it's a lot thinner than the normal oily/creamy makeup remover...
ReplyDeleteAnd I personally don't think any anti-age product that will work...since I don't time time can be rewind or aging can be undone...
Anyway, you don't have "mature" skin anyway...
This seems to be a good one from your review...(But I just decided to give up on eye makeup altogether...)
i wanna get this product for myself too.. nice review =)
ReplyDeletehmm no i dont think i needa talk to anyone cuz its no ones business to get me n my familys situation.. only ppl who lives at home understands n bsides talkin to my bf about my problems.. thats all.. heheh thanks<3

Great review Nikki! Meh I don't know whether I should be using the oily skin (half my face) or anti-aging to keep my butt from looking too old. I think my face is confused:P I would like to try something else to remove eye makeup though that doesn't require too much rubbing.
ReplyDeletePrettybeautiful, well if you're looking for something that really removes waterproof mascara, this won't be the one :)
ReplyDeleteYumeko, lol :) same here
Fuz, it sure does :)
Hey Citrine, thanks for the additional info, when I go home, i'll try to look closely again on the liquid and the pump :) and see what can be done! hahaha
ReplyDeleteFun & Makeup *hugs*
Yas, so true, I guess that leaves me to try Lancome Bifacil? I can't believe I've never tried it!
i have to push it down 1/2 an inch only so that it doesn't spray everywhere...and i wrap my cotton pad around the pump, lol...i think i'll take your advice and transfer it to a smaller bottle for my kit :)
ReplyDeletecool...but i have a question, is the l'oreal ok for oily skin?
ReplyDeleteI passed by this product so many times at the Japanese market and always wanting to buy it. Although I know it's useless for me. Just like you, I don't think I'll be ready for bed after just that. LOL.
ReplyDeleteRenren :) I tried that too! hhahaha I guess we all know what this cleanser can do to us! hahaha
ReplyDeleteReynakatarayan, actually this is great for eyes and lips and use a make-up cleanser all over your face. I technically use makeup remover for the eye area! :) And yes, it's ok for oily skin as it doesn't make your skin oilier! :D
Cinthia, I'm sure you currently have your own HG cleanser, so stick to it :D
