Pros
- shade is decent
- sheer and natural looking
- texture is smooth
- goes on sheer and shade is build-able
- has mirror, helps a lot on retouching
- has angled blush brush, though its not great quality, its still great for emergency touch ups
- price range is ok for the amount of product you get
- does not last long
- plastic case that looks a bit cheap
- a bit too powder so if you brush it with your blush brush, a lot of products are wasted
This is a very pretty warm peachy shade. This shade does remind of a bit of NARS Orgasm and Super Orgasm in between. But again, though this range is quite pretty as it caters more to people like me who loves the natural flush, I find that it does not stay long! Not even half a day which is a big no-no for me! For it's price, its not bad or if you're someone who doesn't mind retouching blush the whole day, this is an ok product to take along!
Tips
- to prevent harsh streaks, use a fluffy blush brush in application
- to use as blush: apply on apples of cheeks and blending upwards
- to use as a tanner: apply areas where to sun hits directly
- do not drop this blush or any other makeup! lol
- use a similar shade of cream blush prior to application of this to help make the blush stays longer
- do not swirl the blush brush too much as it's very powdery so you grab a lot of product in one swirl equals product wastage
No, this is a nice blush but it's not a big WOW for me

I love the name but once I saw the compact, I was like never mind...I like tougher packaging on blushers so that they compact doesn't look that torn when I am just 1% finished with the blush...
ReplyDeleteLoreal does come up with wonderful blushes, but yeah, i'll have to agree with you on the packaging of this one! :D
ReplyDeleteThis one makes you look so healthy and sunkissed!! hehehe!! :D
This blush looks so nice! I love this apricot peachy shade! Awww! it's gonna be so warm on the face! Nice stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love the shade, it warms up your already pretty face =) But yes, packaging isn't nice, and the brush is not of good quality, same as my Trumatch MMU =(.

ReplyDeleteYou should get your aunt and uncle to send you or bring you some Joe Fresh makeup or Annabelle makeup -- great Canadian brands! ;-)
ReplyDeleteMichelle
wow, it's a nice peachy shade. i think it's not available here, but i might be wrong.
ReplyDeletei'm also on the lookout for a nice peach blush...a friend let me try her Shu P Peach 47 and it's nice, but if there something cheaper out there, it would be better. hahaha
The color is nice on you! Nice detailed review too! I didn't know they don't last long.. too bad... :)
ReplyDeleteOoh I hate it when my blush just disappears before half a day. Thanks for the review, I'll skip this one.
ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty, but I think my MAC Nuance and LM Orange Blossom are nicer versions of the same color.
ReplyDeleteCitrine, same with you, if I see the name Apricot with Peach right beside it, I'll love it, but you're right, we need tougher packaging for blushes, actually it's not as flimsy as you think but they can do better you know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteJenn, :) its just the plasticky look, but the mirror and the blush storage is awesome!
Anastacia, yes, it gives a warm look but just for less than half a day too bad!
The NeuroChiq, oohh TrueMatch MMU, I haven't tried it, and thanks for your quick feedback on that! at least I know what to expect!
ReplyDeleteLipstick Rules, ahh no chance, they're not coming down here for long time! hahah thanks for the recos!
Sis Jheng, thanks, I haven't seen them too! wow..Shu Peach? it must be pricey hahah I would love cheaper alternatives too! We need to tipid!!!
Sue, I guess a lot of the powder blushes available in the market do not last long, if you want them to last long, either the cream underneath method, or purchase a more expensive blush with longer hold :)
ReplyDeleteFifi, no worries, my pleasure to share my 2 cents
LOL. i definitely MIND retouching my blush every 2 hours. and eeep the brush looks really streaky, i wonder why they even bother to include the brush. =/
ReplyDeletethats a nice shade of blush Nikki! Suits you! Too bad its not locally available..
ReplyDeleteIt gave you a natural flush and it looks pretty on you. :)
ReplyDeletePrettybeautiful, me too! i do retouch my face powder or lipstick but never blush! i don't know why!!!
ReplyDeleteKhymm, thanks, I'm not sure why it's not available locally too!
Pammy, thanks sweetie!
I had the true blend face powder before and I have to agree with the packaging, I wish it has a better packaging =)
ReplyDeleteYour cheeks look peachy and adorable! Yes, the packaging is plaskticky, but the colour is great!

How gorgeous is this on you? Perfect shade for your cheekies!
ReplyDeleteThis blush looks very pretty on you! It gives you a natural and healthy flush. But I agree with you on the packaging, it looks cheap.
ReplyDeleteToo bad it doesn't stay long :( It's a very nice shade, sweets, just like my L'oreal Blush Delice in Rosy Cheeks! :)
ReplyDeleteI think it really matches your skintone :) Pretty gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI've walked by this so many times in the drugstore. Though, they do have a pretty decent colour selection for a drugstore brand. They're separated into warm, neutral, and cool.
ReplyDeleteThe brush looks so cheap and scratchy :P
B, thank you sweetie! you are such a sweetheart with your comments
ReplyDeleteGio, hahahaa well, as long as the product itself is pretty, who cares about the packaging? Well..uhmmm..all of us? lol
Teeyah, so true, it doesn't stay long, so I have to reapply like 3-4 times a day!
Naomi, thank you sweetie
ReplyDeleteLisa, really? that's cool to know The brush? Don't even ask about it! lol
great color on you!
