Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks Review

It was Avon Lipstick Army inside my room for the past weeks.  I randomly picked 10 of them to test and gave 10 away!  I hope the winners will enjoy these as much as I do!  I was told the Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks are rich in Moisture and it will work really well on my dry lips!  How do I find these?

Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick says ---

Pros

• Lipstick wrapped well once purchase.

• Packaging looks nice on your lipstick collection.  Not the cheap plastic type.
• Has a tiny hint of fruity scent? (I'm not sure if its honeydew?)
• Glides on lips easily even without lip balm.
• Lips do not flake or dry up in the middle of the day.
• Inexpensive for a good quality lipstick.
• Has SPF!

Cons

• Ordering through brochure makes it difficult to choose the shade you really want (Read tip below on how to purchase the right lipstick).
• If you are into matte lipsticks, these aren't!
• The range of colors can look a bit similar to each other.
• Since this is really moisturizing, the staying power is not as good as those matte lipsticks!  Moisturizing lipsticks tend to slide off easily!
  

Overall

I enjoyed using these as these are the types of lipstick that you can't go wrong!  It always make your lips look healthy at the same time gives a really nice color that complements your skin.  I used this on my mature clients as well over the weekend and I find it glides on easily even on dry lips!  I may have to add that the packaging makes this product looks expensive! 

Tips

• If you want to make sure to order the right Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick shade, Google search on the shade name and click "Image" to see swatches done by Bloggers.   (This is actually a secret of mine when it comes to online ordering)
• Always here the "click" sound in closing the cap.
• If you plan to use this on other people, use a lip brush.
• If your lips are extremely dry, you can always choose to use a lip balm, dab your lips with a tissue then apply your Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks.
• If you want to create a more "matte" Avon Ultra Moisture Rich lipstick shade, apply generously onto lips, put a tissue on top of your lips and apply loose powder to "remove moisture".  Re-apply lipstick and dab with a tissue paper.  This does not only make your lipstick look more matte, it also prolong the color on your lips.

Will I repurchase?
For myself, no.  For clients Yes!

To whom do I recommend this to?
Anyone who likes a sheer colored lipsticks that look very natural and at the same time, gives a good amount of moisture even without lip balm.

Here are the Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks with its corresponding name and applied on my *ahem* gorgeous lips!  Hey!  You have to thank my lips for it as I did these swatches all at once!  Now, isn't it high time to say "mwa mwa" to my poor lips?

Oh, I may have to add that it also proved that Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipsticks are quite moisturizing, I usually cannot swatch more than 3 lipsticks at a time as my lips will come off cracked, chappy and uhmm...just plain ugly! :)

Note: My lips are quite pigmented to start with, so some shade may not come out on my lips but I'm sure it will on those gorgeous lips with lighter color!

Sun Coral

Sun Coral came out similar to Spicy on my lips.  

But this is brighter and has more "orange" shade to it.

Juicy Pomegranate

I reach out for this on mornings that I feel I don't need to wear much lip color.

This looks pretty natural and girl-y on my lips!

Spicy

Reminded me of a nice deep orange lipstick that's not too bright!

This is a perfect color for those who want to give orange lipstick a try without the "Color Shock"

Sheer Red

Came out a bit pinkish on me! 

Sigh, my lips are weird! :P

Sheer Spice

Has a hint of brownish red shade

This shade would work really well on medium to dark skinned individual

Island Glow

This is my favorite pink shade, looks sweet!

Crushed Rose

It looks pretty natural with a hint of rose-y pink color

Sheer Berry

Comes off dark pink on tube but it looks a bit reddish on my lips

Knockout Pink

Same with Sheery Berry, it came out deeper pink on my lips turning a tiny bit of red

Pale Rose

These types of frost finish does not work on me, 

it looks great on my mommy-o so she's now a proud owner of this! :)

Though I love these lipsticks dearly, I chose the colors that show up on me and shared the rest to my mom, mom-in-law and my sister!  Yup, these are the women in my life that deserves good quality lipstick!  Like I said, it's sharing love...one lipstick at a time, right? :D
