Nail Art Tutorial: 2 Become 1

Let's face this, not everyone liked the idea of celebrating Valentine's Day!  I for one, loved the idea of celebrating Valentine's Day but dislikes the thought of heavy traffic and full booking on most restaurants!  (Great for restaurant owners though! :P)

This being said, I've created my version of Valentine's Day Nails for 2012 with 2 kinds of people in mind, those who are excited for the hearts day and those who aren't too excited!  Combined together, who would've thought we can still create gorgeous looking color combination?

The moral of this is, life gets to be this fun with different types of people (just like different shades of colors) present!  Ah hah!  And you thought I can't explain the "moral lesson" of today's post huh?  *proud*

2 Become 1 Nails
Thanks Spice Girls for this!

Step 1:
Apply your choice of base coat to protect your nails from yellowing. (I can't stress this enough!)
I used my Etude House Wannabe Style Nails #1 So Hot Chic and work on both colors alternately.

Step 2:
With the same 2 shades, create a "thick French Tip" as shown on photo below.

Step 3:
With your 2 way nail art pen in White, draw a heart as shown on photo below.  You can use dotting tools or art brush if you don't have the 2 way nail art pen

Step 4:
This step is optional, you can always add extra hearts and you're allowed to because --- It's Valentine's Day!

Step 5:
Making sure the hearts are COMPLETELY dry, create a smaller heart using black 2 Way Nail Art Pen inside the white heart.

Step 6:
Apply glittery polish on the black portion to lessen the darkness!

Step 7:

As usual, the most important step after base coat, application of top coat to protect the nails from chipping!  It helps to do the wrapping method to make the nail art design last longer!
