Good morning and happy Monday AMW Friends!
I am excited to share my most recent makeovers done for a long-time AMW reader! Nancy was originally drawn to my blog because of my Nail Art Tutorials, turned out, she enjoys prettifying her nails as much as I do! Then, we ended up sharing and comparing mobile phones, then makeup! That is how random we could get!

After so many years, we finally had the chance to meet, and it was during her brother's most special day! She played one of the most important role --- mother of the groom! Though she's still young for that, I have this goal to make her look and feel the prettiest "young mom" for the day!
Makeover #1
Skin type: combination (Normal/Oily)
Request: Red lips
It was requested by client that she wanted to wear red lipstick! From there, I immediately thought of a "look" that would go well for her deep red lipstick (Mac Ruby Woo). A moisturizing primer from Laura Mercier was used to keep her skin hydrated and fresh-looking all day! I used RMK Liquid Foundation to even out her "already-gorgeous-looking skin". As for the eyes, I've decided to create a day-time smoky eye makeup look since client seems comfortable with makeup. To keep her eyes from looking "puffy", I've used mostly matte eye shadows to create a fake deep-set eye look!
Final Look
Makeover #2
Skin type: Combination (Normal/Oily)
Request: Cover up blemishes
Client 2 is young and pretty! So I've decided to create a very fresh and simple makeup that would enhance her natural youthful beauty! Her brows are to-die-for so I didn't really do much but added a bit of definition near her nose line. I actually skipped concealer and used foundation in covering up her blemishes. I used Graftobian HD Makeup and voila! Blemishes-be-gone! :) To complete the natural makeup look, I've decided to use a fresh matte pink colored lipstick the blue based color of Pink Nouveau works so well on her skin!
Final Look
Makeover #3
Skin type: Normal
Request: Natural, no makeup look
Client 3 has healthy and good skin to start with with some gorgeous freckles showing up! I checked with her right away if she wanted to have her freckles covered and I'm glad she's okay with her freckles showing up! I used a lightweight foundation from Paul & Joe and applied a light amount all over her skin (in person, you can see a bit of her freckles showing through). I defined her brows with Benefit Gimme Brow and brow powder, created a soft smoky eye makeup to enhance her eyes giving more definition!
Finish Look
Makeover #4
Skin type: Combination (Normal/Dry)
Request: None
Client 4 has gorgeous eyes so I've decided to focus more on her lovely eyes! I also used my favorite Benefit Gimme Brow to make her brows appear fuller and gently drew fake hairs with a brow pencil. For her eyes, I've decided to use mostly neutral shades highlighting the center of her face with a shimmer eyeshadow to make her eyes look more alive and awake. A bit of contouring was done on her nose and cheeks and a nice pink blush and lipstick was used.
Final Look
All 4 clients' hair was done by: Kim Tan Rodriguez
I enjoyed prettifying these gorgeous bunch!

Hello Nikki! May I know what concealer you used on Client #4? You made her look younger.
ReplyDeleteHi marielle! Thanks for the feedback and compliment, I used Make Up For Ever Concealer palette :D
DeleteAll the make-up over look so pretty, but number 4 make over look stood out from the rest. The eyebrows made a really good definition of her personality the eyes specially. The shade of the blush and the lipstick perfectly matched. Ang ganda! She looked so much younger than the before shot. I love it, ;)
ReplyDeletethank you Agnes for the feedback and for choosing your favorite look! :) You made me very happy! :D
DeleteHi Ms. Nikki, the makeovers are really gorgeous. I'm really impressed. I'm just wondering how you maintain a good makeup hygiene since you have a big makeup collection. And I hope, if you don't mind, show your makeup collection in a post. BTW the 2nd makeover looks fab. :-)
