I came home a bit late from a busy Monday and of course, most of the time, I'm stuck in traffic so instead of spending a long time here in front of the computer, I've decided to share a quick post on my favorite lipstick as of the moment.
The Estee Lauder Pure Color Vivid Shine Lipstick in Glow Fuchsia.
This lipstick is part of the Estee Lauder Metallics Fall 2013 Collection. I'm not sure how long these lipsticks are going to be on counters but if you plan to get ONE lipstick this season, try investing on one as they glide on like a dream on my super dry lips!
Looking at Glow Fuchsia on tube, I thought this will look a bit "granny" on me. Comment and say "AYE" if you agree with me in terms of how "frosted" colored lipstick would look "old" on us..no offense to grannies! Even my granny clients do not like frosted lipsticks! *laughs*
Back to my new Estee Lauder lipstick, it may have a metallic shine upon application but the color is quite rich giving an illusion of soft-looking lips! You can see my photo below as proof! Old-time AMW readers know how DRY my lips could get!
There are a total of 6 shades in this collection, I can't vouch on how the other shades would look on individuals with dry lips but the shade Glow Fuchsia does not enhance the dryness of my lips! And so far, the moisture-rich formula does help keep my lips feeling soft all day, I may need to re-apply lipbalm every now and then but the good part about this lipstick is the absence of "tight-lip" feel! (You do know what I'm talking about right? Imagine a lipstick that's eating up all the moisture around your lips!)
