Hi AMW friends!
If you love reading blogs (Like I do), you probably read about GLAMGLOW coming to town! For a brand name with Hollywood, California written all over the box, I usually steer clear from it as it is either 1. VERY EXPENSIVE 2. Only works for Gods and Goddesses!
Although my college friends call me a Goddess *lol* my skin will never be as it tends to be dry and sensitive! When good friend Emily Koa, Business Unit Manager of Scent & Beaute Concepts, sent me my own GLAMGLOW Youth Mud, I was a bit hesitant to give this a try as I'm scared of using anything as potent as mud on my very sensitive skin!
But after my return from the US trip and my skin is extremely crazy, I've decided to give this a test and I'll share with you guys my initial thoughts on using this product.
First things first, what does GLAMGLOW do?
GLAMGLOW is said to be a mud treatment that can provide gentle resurfacing exfoliation leaving skin smoother, brighter and softer. What excites me about the product is that it can help absorb impurities without removing the skin's natural oil! (yay!)
YouthMud contains: Green Tea, Volcanic Pumice Rock and Minerals and French Sea Clay. Contains no sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs or triclosan.
On Tuesday, I was on leave from work to settle down my body from all the excitment during my US trip, I've decided to try GLAMGLOW YouthMud and here are some of my initial thoughts:
- Product smells great! As compared to other mud masks I tried, the scent is relaxing.
- No tingling sensation but there is a bit of tightening effect which does not bother me.
- Skin feels very soft, clean and smooth after first use.
- Skin looks a tad bit more radiant, healthy and bright after first use.
GLAMGLOW is on the pricier side at Php3,750.00 (approx $83.00). But, if you are the type who goes to a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly facial to keep your skin smooth, soft and glowing, GLAMGLOW is a nice alternative for at -home luxurious skin treatment! All you need to make sure is that you're not allergic to any of the ingredients listed on box!
GLAMGLOW is available here in the Philippines in SM Makati, Megamall and Aura beauty section, Fresh Fragrance Bar Eastwood, Alabang Town Center, Century Mall and Glorietta 5, and Art of Scent Shangri-la Mall and Resorts World.
Do you go to facials or
do you have special at-home skincare regimen to give your skin some TLC?
