Sleek Gloss Me (Angel Falls) and Matte Me (Birthday Suit and Rioja Red) on Me

I've done an in-depth review on Sleek's Matte Me and Gloss Me year 2013 and who would've thought fast-forwarding to today, we have all the shades we want available locally?

I got my hands on the following ---
Sleek Gloss Me Colour Intense Supreme Lip Shine in Angel Falls
Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Cream in Birthday Suit and Rioja Red

And I couldn't be happier.

Both Gloss Me and Matte Me comes in the same packaging but you won't make a mistake because Gloss Me and Matte Me are printed clearly on the clear plastic packaging.

Sleek Gloss Me
Shade: Angel Falls

Gloss Me has a high-shine coverage that dazzles even a mile away (exaggeration but you get my point!)  I had a hard time using this the first time because of the sticky, gooey texture!  But after several tries, I realized the best way to apply this is by exfoliating your lips before hand making sure there aren't any "lip flakes".  After applying a thick amount from the center of the lips blending outward, it is best to blot off excess product by dabbing a clean tissue.

Truth be told, with all the non-sticky glosses available out there, I find this a pretty product but I can definitely live without these!  I just have so many dry skin around my lips to bother enhancing them with a thick gloss like  Gloss Me!

BUT, Matte Me is definitely worth checking out if YOU MUST purchase ONE lip product from the brand.  You have to pick this!  I swear, YOU HAVE TO!

Sleek Matte Me
Shade: Birthday Suit

Birthday Suit is the "most sought after" shade and "most worn" shade during the launch.  I can understand why!  Birthday Suit is a gorgeous dusty rose shade that would pass up as "My Lips But Better" shade.  Here's the unique part about this shade, it looks really nude on tube but once applied and settle on lips, it turns into a rose brown shade that warms up the whole face.

Then if you wanted something opposite, something for "night", go for Sleek Matte Me in Rioja Red.

Rioja Red is a blue-based bright red shade that can whiten anyone's teeth.  Definitely not for the faint-hearted, a true-blue red lipstick wearer will enjoy this a lot (and the attention she will be getting)

As for the formulation of Matte Me, it starts off very liquid in texture and dries quickly!  So I highly recommend precise application because this stuff is EXTREMELY (all CAPS para intense) hard to remove!  What I love about the finish is that, you get a matte finish that isn't extremely drying!  Considering the fact that I have dehydrated lips, I find myself wearing this a lot and it doesn't dry out my lips midday.

Now, let's talk about longevity, this is one of the most LONG LASTING lip product I've tried.  I can last a whole day of eating, drinking and yakking and I still have a nice layer of "pigment" left on my lips.  It does lighten up (especially Birthday Suit) but NEVER "disappear".

I did a test on rubbing my lips hard with a dry tissue and see how it doesn't have any pigment or marks at all!

Now how to remove you say?  With an oil-based makeup remover because this is a pain to remove especially the brighter shades!  I find myself picking Birthday Suit more for daily use and Rioja Red on days I feel "Blah".

Thankfully, Sleek Makeup is locally available and I can't wait to add in more shades for my "Brides" because I really love the long-lasting effect of these Matte Me lippies.

Have you tried Sleek Matte Me or Gloss Me?
