So many eyebrow products in the market nowadays! From inexpensive, mid-range to expensive! I make it a point to try them all! (I wish it's possible!)
The phrase "To each their own" is applicable when it comes to make up. Some may prefer the cheaper ones while others are more willing to invest on the pricier ones. Personally speaking, I would say, as long as they work for you, go for it!
Pink Sugar recenly launched their Honey, I'm Good Eyebrow Gels. I have tried all 3 shades and knew from the start which shade worked for me! But for the sake of "blog review", I will be swatching all 3 shades on my brows so you can pick which one would work for you! After months of trying, I'm finally ready to share my thoughts on these.

Pink Sugar Honey, I'm Good Eyebrow Gel
Shades: Bruentte, Taupe and Blonde
Shade: Blonde
Shade: Brunette
Shade: Taupe
Housed in a mascara-like tube with similar brown packaging for ALL Shades, my inner OC-ness would say, I wish their packaging is the same color as the shade of the eyebrow gel because it gets confusing at times!
All Pink Sugar Eyebrow gels are infused with Coconut Oil and Aloe Vera, this tint and conditions the brow hairs at the same time.
As for application of "any" eyebrow gel, always apply going to and against the brow hairs to make sure the "tint" would coat EACH brow strands!
All 3 shades are highly pigmented, non-clumping and are long-wearing!
It is just a bit tricky for me to fall in love with Blonde because it looks almost too bright on my skin. But nothing an extra step of brow powders or brow pencils can't fix!
L-R Bare brows, Blonde, Brunette and Taupe worn on its own.
The perfect shade for me is Taupe. Blonde is a bit too golden for me, Brunette is a bit too dark for my hair color so Taupe is definitely the winner.

AMW Wore Taupe
Though these products are infused with hair-loving ingredients, it does dry out my brows a bit mid-afternoon. Nothing too alarming though! I just have this need to let you know though it doesn't happen to everyone! It must be the fact that each of my brow hair are thick, so coating them well would mean, more product on my brows, meaning, more chances of the product to dry out and feel stiff and dry.
The Pink Sugar Honey, I'm Good Eyebrow Gels are priced at Php349.00 (approx $8.00) Available at : SM Department Stores in MOA, Makati, Aura, Manila, Fairview, Marilao, Clark, Bacoor, Seaside Cebu, Lanang Premier (Davao), SM Bacolod, Watsons Festival Mall, Ayala Center Cebu, Seaside Cebu, Southmall, Landmark Department Store Trinoma; Makati Metro Department Store Market Market KCC Mall Zamboanga, Marbel, General Santos G Mall Davao, Toril, Tagum Online on BeautyMNL.com Fisher Department Store (coming soon) and their e-commerce site is www.pinksugar.com.ph

I use a wee bit amount of blonde to lighten up brow hair since I dye my hair lighter again this time. It gives my brow hair a bit dimension too because it has a wee bit shimmer in it.
ReplyDeleteAhhh The blonde is too much, but yeah, once you adjusted it with brow pencil or powder, you ARE A OK!
DeleteLove the taupe one! Is it waterproof? :)
ReplyDeleteIt transfer a bit, but so far, if hindi naman yung swimming type, it's okay
DeleteSuper nice ng Taupe I'm gonna pick this up when i go to Sm Seaside Cebu :) its the only Mall that carries Pink Sugar here.

DeleteThe taupe is really nice. Soft and natural looking. The blonde is scary. I mean who has blonde eyebrows anyway?
ReplyDeletehahahah well, those who have super blonde hair maybe?:P
DeleteI haven't tried it yet, I'm eyeing their lip and cheek tints. Anyway, iniwasan ko na mag brow gel nung nag-clump yung product sakin, but I definitely have to try this. I'll be going for Taupe!
