The AMW Family visits Landers Superstore

Mr. AMW and I had been dating for 11 years before we got married.  So imagine just how many malls, coffee shops and places we visited in 11 years?  LOTS!  Do we get bored?  No, not at all!  Because our preference to "bonding" is similar and very simple.  We are happy even if we just push 1 grocery cart and shop inside a supermarket.

Now that I'm a mom to Kyle Nash, I am NOT surprised how Kyle prefers grocery shopping over toy shopping!  He's more comfortable inside the supermarket as compared to kiddie places!  So when we heard about the newly opened Membership store at Balintawak area called Landers, I had to bring my 2 angels with me!

Landers Superstore Balintawak Quezon City along EDSA just opened its doors to the public on the latter part of June.  I also saw another one in construction at Otis, Manila expected to be completed by the early parts of August.  

I love the feel of the store upon going in.  Natural light goes straight to the food hall and my son was extremely excited and was comfortable enough to run around.

Landers Superstore is similar to S&R Membership Shopping in MANY ways!  But what sets them apart is the gorgeous Dining area called Landers Central.  I love how the seats are more comfortable and spacious.

As for food, they serve 4 Kinds of Pizzas in regular and wheat variant (N.Y. Cheese Deluxe, Bronx Pepperoni, Manhattan Supreme and Brooklyn Bomber) .  Roast and Fried Chicken and 2 Choices of Hotdog sandwhich (U.S. Famous Beef Hotdog and Salisbury Turkey Franks).

Drinks are unlimited so feel free to quench your thirst with different sodas or orange juice.

Now the Condiments Section is another story.  I used to fly away from Condiments section of ANY restaurants like a plague, but this one really is too cute to handle!  I just had to take a picture of this!  I wish they maintain this cute setup for good!  And guys, please do not mess up this place!

Order of business --- feed ourselves before our wallets go on a diet!  I personally love N.Y. Cheese Deluxe pizza!  It is indeed a must-try pizza from Landers Superstore!  The Salibury Turkey Franks is also a MUST!  I'm not a fan of hotdogs but that won my heart (and stomach)!

For coffee-lovers like myself, after a heart-felt meal, a coffee must be in order!  I love that Landers Superstore offers brewed coffee or flavored coffee at Doppio.

You literally see your coffee made in front of you!  Ah, I love that excitement rushing through my veins as I wait for my good cup of coffee.

They also serve muffins and cakes for the sweet-tooth.  And if you're not a fan of coffee, they also sell juices.

And ice cream!  I was sick with colds so I gave this a skip!  I shall return though!

For a family who loves bread!  Dough and Co. is another must visit place inside Landers Superstore.

Freshly baked and packed goodies are all laid in front of you!  I was a bit overwhelmed!

Make sure to apply for a Membership Card before you go crazy shopping!  Landers Superstore is currently having on ongoing Membership Promo.  20% discount until September 15, 2016.  (From Php800.00 to Php640.00)  

The printing of the card was quick, I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes.

Now back to my shopping-escapade!  Rotisserie is where they sell whole roasted chicken like that of S&R.  If you ask me, I can't quite pick my favorite because the version from Landers is quite sweet!  I wish they have more sauce though!

Now off to my monthly shopping list!  I always start with Fresh Produce.  From fruits to vegetables.

All the vegetables are clearly wrapped with a clear price tag.  They are indeed very fresh, clean and hygienic!

My next target are fresh meat!  I hoard pork, beef and chicken by the bulk.  I store them separately in a clear container labeled for easy access.  Some of my readers on Instagram asked me on the price difference between Landers Superstore and S&R, I would say, they are almost the same!  The only difference is that, at times S&R offers discounts on meat and poultry.  Just like last month, we were able to shop for Buy 1 Kg Free 1 Kg Ground Pork.

Now let's wait for Landers Superstore to offer something similar to that in the future.

As a keen meat-shopper, I would say all their meat are fresh and handled pretty well.  I also like how they stamp the meat with Packaged Date and Display Until Dates!  Please check those out too!

Now here's the huge difference between Landers Superstore and other Supermarkets I know!  They have Sausages and Cheeses hanged so beautifully I wanted to buy them all!  I like how I don't need to bend over a freezer and look for items I need, instead, everything is displayed properly and clearly I immediately spotted what I need and ended up with MORE!

They also have a display of furniture and sample "set-up" for inspiration.  I want them all!

As for the "Beauty" section, I see a lot of Aveeno products!  I believe they almost have the complete range of Aveeno.

Band-Aid brand is widely available in the store too!  I felt bad I didn't pick Band-Aid Hurt Free Antiseptic (blue bottle)!  Well, I shall return!

Now I've seen these around my IG feed, I picked 2 flavors and tried Garlic and Parmesan!  These are indeed very good and perfect for snacking!  (Pa-healthy kunwari)

If you feel at-a-lost, just look up!  All the areas are labeled properly!

My favorite SPICE section!  I think this has one of the best spice display I've seen so far!

And why should I miss a Buy 1 Take 1 deal?  I purchased Collagen for my Mom-in-law and Multivitamins for myself and parents.

(Sorry naman, may butter pang hawak lol)

This section reminds me so much of Costco.  I love how they offer pieces for everyone in the family!

And random samples that could be bad for the wallet!  Was able to try Tim Hortons French Vanilla Cappucino Instant Drink and purchased 1 in an instant!

Peanut butter sampling.  Thank goodness I'm not a fan of Peanut Butter!

Everything was displayed so neatly I actually can spot instantly the things I need or don't need!

Huge sizes of Fabric Conditioners.

They also sell appliances like Refrigerators, Washing Machine and Television sets.

And random storage systems. 

Of course I didn't forget those who are into liquors!  Landers Superstore also offers a wide array of wine, spirits and whiskeys.

 

And of course, from all the shopping and hoobaloo, this tired mom needs to take a breather!  Thankfully, my son was too caught up watching random shows on all these demo TV units!  The guy was even nice enough to play an Angry Birds "Short Film" just so I could take a rest!

Oh, if I may have to add, everyone was so friendly!  The staffs are always happy to assist you!  I wish they remain that way even when the place gets crowded.  I heard they could get extremely crowded on Holidays and weekends.

Wasn't taken on photo:  Landers Superstore also offers Grooming services.  There is one right next to the entrance where the men in our lives can relax with a haircut while the women shop!

As for me, my favorite place in this Superstore is their Dining Area.

Now here's great news for those who love to gas up at Caltex.  With Landers Superstore Membership card, you get at least Php1.00 off per liter!  That's a HUGE saving for a family who owns a vehicle!  Super sulit talaga!

I definitely had a great shopping experience and planned to go back for our next Monthly Family Shopping.
