Weekend Food Trip at: Banapple Pies and Cheesecakes

We have tried to dine-in at Banapple for the longest time!  They're always packed and my whole family can't seem to wait each time we visit there!  A couple of weeks ago, my very good friend came from the US for a vacation and we decided to take her out for a shopping trip at Robinsons Galleria!  All of us didn't have a decent lunch and it was mid-afternoon already!  So it was a good timing to finally get a good seat at Banapple!  We wanted feel-good-food at the same time good for her kiddos too!

Lasagna Roll-Ups
Php210.00
Herbed cream and parmesan cheeses fill al dente lasagna wide strips,
rolled up and smothered with their classic tomato meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.

I am quite surprised her kids love this, it has a strong herb taste and it worked for them!

Chicken Parmigiano
Php215.00
Tender fillet of chicken breasts encrusted in parmesan crumb mixture topped with stewed tomato meat sauce and melted mozzarella. Served with glazed buttered carrots.

This is one of my favorite dish from the restaurant.  It comes with a hefty serving of tender chicken breasts that is perfect for kids and adults!

Garlic Beef Tapa with Creamed Parsley Eggs
Php200.00
Tender beef tapa, fried in garlic pieces and paired with their special creamy egg.

Their version of tapa is different from most tapas I've tried.  They are definitely sweeter!  I can't help but go for loads of vinegar because tapa are supposed to taste that way! :)

Salpicao Rafael
Php225.00
Tender Cubes of rib-eye steak and sliced mushrooms.  Served with butter carrots.

A favorite dish of mine!  The beef is tender and juicy and works so well on the garlic rice!  Will definitely order this again!

Banoffee Pie
Php115.00
Their best-selling pie.  My friend enjoyed this but I'm not a fan of bananas on cakes!  I just like to eat them as is!  As a fruit!

Banana Starry-Berry Custared Cheesecake
Php145.00
My friend's youngest daughter was craving for strawberries but they didn't seem to have any available!  Thankfully, there's a last piece of this cake !

Cherry Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake
Php135.00
We must be old but Mr. AMW and I find this too sweet for our liking!  The kids can't seem to finish up a slice too as they are too rich!

Overall, Banapple is a wonderful experience.  I like how their price range is affordable and the servings are huge!  I am not impressed with their cakes (must be the fact that I'm terribly picky when it comes to my sweets).  But definitely enjoyed the experience, the ambiance and the good service!

  1. I can't help but smile at this post. My husband and I refer to banapple as fertility food. After 3 years TTC, I got pregnant shortly after eating a feast at banapple. :)

  2. Yeah, their cakes are very rich. A slice seems small at first, but it can be shared by two. I have a HUGE sweet tooth but I can't finish a slice in one sitting!

  3. I usually share my slice of cake with our Shotie (he can eat more than a slice).
