Weekend Food Trip at: Mom & Tina's Bakery Cafe

My first Mom & Tina's experience was at their original branch but we were so busy with the shoot I didn't get to "shoot before I eat".  Fast-forward to several years after, I've decided to take my family to their QC branch just because I had a good experience dining with them.

It was a great decision to dine there during the Holidays because I felt the Holiday vibe right away upon getting our seat.

The restaurant has a very "homey" vibe which reminded me so much of "Sundays with Grandparents" kinda night!  The bakery also has a nice display of all their cupcakes, cakes and other sweets!

As much as I would love to dive into the dessert portion, we went ahead and decided for our main dishes.

But obviously, I can't say NO to coffee, so I went ahead and tried their bestselling Cafe Latte and so far, it didn't fail!

Cafe Latte
Php95.00
Php115.00 if you choose decaffeinated

First order of business, Kyle's meal!

Chicken N' Chips
Php255.00
Also available are Fish & Chips but I go for the Chicken because fish tends to be oilier!  These are simple breaded chicken fillet (you can actually do at home) and served with tartar sauce and fresh French Fries!  I'm quite impressed with the French Fries, they don't taste like those that came from frozen section of the supermarket.

Pork Barbecue
Php195.00
Flavorful grilled pork skewers served with Java Rice and Atchara.
I am impressed with this dish!  It may look boring but it was love at first bite.

Roast Pork
Php295.00
Tender slices of oven-roasted porke served with rice, gravy, mashed potatoes and vegetables.  I know right?  Too much carbs but it is indeed a major comfort food on days you feel extremely hungry!  I wish I went ahead and tried their Lengua as this is an exact flavor of a lengua dish but the difference is the meat used.

Fettuccine Carbonara
Php250.00
According to the menu, these are freshly made pasta drizzled with rich cream sauce with crunchy bacon bits and mushrooms.  It was served with 2 bread (which is quite a nice change instead of the usual garlic bread).  This passed our picky taste for Carbonara.

As Mr. AMW and I said to ourselves, this is a nice place if you just want to unwind with the family!  The huge variety of dishes served from All-Day Breakfast to Pasta Dishes, Sandwiches with dessert choices as huge as cookies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, bars and other pastries.

And of course, it doesn't hurt that they serve different variants of HOT and Cold coffee!  YAY!

With our little angel

It is better to call in for reservations because the place is also packed.  The restaurant also shares parking space with 2 other restaurants and is located right in front of ABS-CBN so there will be days parking slots will be full!
