So Beauty Blenders are EVERYWHERE! Original and "inspired versions". I own 2 originals and a whole lot of "inspired ones". So I guess I have a bit of the "right" to say, I know if it's as good as the original or even close to the original. #BraggingRights
I recently got one as a gift that doesn't look like your regular Beauty Blender Sponge, it comes with an "Edge" that's why it's called a Miracle Edge Sponge! It is also in hot pink and there are other colors like Light Pink and Purple which I find extremely adorable and I want to get them all!
Miracle Edge Sponge
Php490.00 but priced Php285.00 at BeautyMNL
How does it look? None of that teardrop shape! It comes with a sharp tip and a flat edge!
And it also gets BIG when wet! See how huge it is against the palm of my hand?
AMW says ---
- Expands just like the original Beauty Blender. Actually, a tad bit bigger.
- Has the sharp tip which is perfect for small areas like the sides of the nose.
- The flat edge is perfect for pressing makeup product. (Ex. Dry or wet loose powder)
- Perfect sponge for "baking".
- Soft. Surprisingly nearly as soft as the original.
- Can be used wet and dry.
I like how this sponge works in any type of liquid makeup (BB creams, Tinted Moisturizers, Cream or Liquid Foundations) and even work on powdered makeup products!
Once it expands, I like how the size of the sponge is just right for my hand and how I can easily use all areas of the sponge to create seamless finish.
The rounded area, I like to use to start applying product on face.
Use the flat edge to press concealer, anywhere that I need heavier coverage, I use the flat edge.
The sharp tip is perfect to get into those crevices like the sides of the nose and maybe inner corner of the eyes? I also like to use the sharp tip to "clean off" excess makeup when I make mistakes.
Overall, this review is plain and simple, for an inexpensive product, it works! I highly recommend this to those who can't invest on a Beauty Blender. This product is indeed a great start!
What's your favorite "Sponge" that isn't Beauty Blender that works?
Any other brand I should look into?
I personally own one from Etude House and Cathy Doll, on a process for review! Don't forget to LIKE Pro Studio Beauty Exclusives on Facebook.
