My Daily "Nude" Look

If there's an "everyday face for Nikki Tiu", this is my everyday face.

Well, not really, shall I rephrase?
If there's an everday "full face" makeup for Nikki Tiu, then that (photo above) would be my everyday full face look!  My version of a full faced makeup will always be ----

  • Fresh-looking.
  • I still look like me, but younger version perhaps?
  • Easy and very quick to do, 5 minutes max!
And so far, after the launch of Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow (Php499.00), I have been picking this Nude Palette multiple times I think it's time I review other eyeshadow palettes.

Cathy Doll says ---
"Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow comes with 3 tones that are vivid, and long-wearing even without the application of eye primer. Enhance your charm with this handy yet chic compact."

Variations:
• Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow #01 Nude• Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow #02 Smoky• Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow #03 Pink Champagne

The palette is a combination of matte (1 or 2) and the rest are shimmery!  The reason why I've been picking this palette up almost everyday is the fact that this Nude palette includes my favorite "eye contour shade"  (first row third column).

Some of the shadows are extremely pigmented, some are just right while others are a bit powdery (those that have glitters like the gold shade on second row first column).

As for my "default" look, I always start with the "eye contour shade" and apply it all over my crease.

Using the same brush and not adding on pigments, I sweep back and forth until the contour shade appears natural and my eyes appear deeper.

Now on to the "deepen your crease" shade.  I always do this since I have droopy lids and this works wonders!  Pick an eyeshadow shade 2-3 shades darker than your skin tone and work it on the outer corner of your lids!

Feel free to use the rest of the shadow that's left on your brush and apply all over the crease for more dimension.

Now on to "highlighting" your eyes.  I like to use the sponge tip applicator that comes with the palette and apply a hefty amount of "gold" on the center of your eyelid.

Tip: If you want better sparkle, "foil" the eyeshadow, meaning, spritz the sponge applicator with water and apply the eyeshadow wet with dabbing motion.

Tada!
You may add more drama by adding a thick line of eyeliner and apply loads of mascara! :)
