Weekend Food Trip at: Belleville Cafe

Ever getting married, I make sure to free up my weekends for both families (mine and Mr. AMW's).  And because of that, I always try to search for new cafes and restaurants just to bond and catch-up.  I love Cafe Restaurants more because of the quiet vibe plus I can enjoy a good cup of coffee after a hearty meal.

One resto-cafe that caught my attention is called Belleville Cafe, located at Tomas Morato, it wasn't difficult to search as long as you have Waze and it was a perfect "bonding" experience with my family because we got the place to ourselves!

The ambiance is very cozy and homey and you get to see books and magazines where you can actually read and borrow.  The only unique part is that, you need to go out to order outside (and pay) and to use the washroom, you literally have to pass through the "order area" and go into someone else's home!  *lol*  It wasn't an issue for me because you felt like you're staying at a friend's place for dinner!

Now, what about the food?  They serve mostly coffee, pasta and sandwiches but they also serve some hot dishes!

Korean BBQ Beef on Rice
Php245.00

Chicken Ala King With Rice
Php165.00

US Angus Beef Salpicao with Rice
Php235.00

As for the dishes, it took them a long time to serve our dishes but thankfully, they sell bag of chips which we bought as appetizer as we busily catch up on our lives!  I'm not sure if serving really takes that long or we just went in on a wrong time!  But try not to go there if you are extremely hungry!

As for the food, some doesn't look aesthetically great but the taste is definitely worth the visit.  If you are aiming for  home-cooked, warm-fuzzy-to-the-tummy-feeling dishes, give this restaurant a try at least once!

Have you tried this restaurant?
Any quaint cafe-resto you would recommend?

  1. I've been there once and I think they really take a bit long with the orders. I was the only customer and I only ordered a matcha latte but it took maybe almost 10 minutes (as someone who frequents chains like Starbucks and SBC, ang tagal non!). Buy it was okay as the staff were really nice and accommodating.
