Pink Sugar Our Lil' Secret Concealer Review

What's my not-so-secret Secret?  I use concealer in a daily basis and apply it only on areas of my face that needed coverage (undereye, sides of nose and random pimples).  And I keep the rest of my face bare as much as possible just to let it breathe!

That I think, is my secret to having better-looking skin (disclaimer: Not always!)

That said, I finish up concealers so quickly I can actually review several brands in a month!

One recent concealer collection is from Pink Sugar called Our Lil' Secret Concealer (Php349.00).

Thanks to Pink Sugar for creating various shades of concealers (not just light and medium) but they actually have 5 shades and you'll definitely find one that would match you.

5 shades: Light Warm, Light Medium, Beige, Medium and Medium Deep.

Thankfully, this is housed in a packaging I love most when it comes to liquid concealers!

Comes with doe-foot applicator which, in my opinion, is the best applicator for liquid concealers because you get to apply the much needed amount of product on key areas.

For me, I immediately picked Medium because I always play-it-by-ear and usually I'm right!  Must be the years of applying makeup on both myself and clients!  I can sniff the right shade from afar! :P

Medium is a a medium yellow tone concealer perfect to conceal undereye darkness for fair to medium skin.  If you have darker complexion or if you have darker undereye circles, I highly recommend you to give Medium Deep a try because it has more salmon undertone to it.

Before and After

As opposed to my first concealer from Pink Sugar called Out Lil' Secret Concealer in Tube, this one has lighter coverage and feels more lightweight than ever.  The previous concealer has fuller coverage so if you want major coverage in one single application, go for that!  But if you are the type who just needed a bit of brightening on the undereye area at the same time giving light to light medium coverage, go for this liquid concealer because the applicator makes it a dream to apply too especially on days you are in a hurry!

I find the formulation of this concealer is more watery, I may need 2-3 layers to cover my dark undereye circles.  It sets like a dream and I an actually get away not applying powder on top but if you have oily skin, it is VERY important to set it with translucent powder or powder foundation (for more coverage) to prevent product from slipping midday!

Overall, this is a wonderful daily concealer but again, if more coverage is needed, you may opt to apply more or use the one in Tube which has fuller coverage.
