Want Fuller-Looking, yet Natural Brows?

I have full bows to start with --- that's one thing I am very proud of!  I wish it'll look that way until I turn 60!

To my friends and clients who have very few strands of brows or who has brows but each brow strands tend to be fine and almost invisible, you may want to look into this newest Benefit brow product that I got to try and use for the past weeks.

The Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder

Description

As much as I would say ALL Benefit products are housed in a cute packaging, this has been a favorite packaging of mine for all their brow products when it was launched last year.  With the same silver genie-like packaging, this is very compact and convenient to tote along.

Thankfully, Benefit offers beyond cuteness.  You get a compact packaging with a nice (use-able) mirror, the powder is packed inside this cute brow shape pan.  You'll never go wrong on which shade you need to use for a particular brow area.  You may follow the guide on pan and just be adventurous if you can --- because makeup isn't permanent tattoo!

The unique part about the Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder?  The applicator.  This is actually the key in creating fuller-looking brows!

A dual-ended tool with sponge tip applicator on one end and a spoolie on the other.

Here's how to use, first, you have to brush your brow hairs with the spoolie that comes with the product.  I always like to brush and remove excess oil, dirt and just groom it before applying anything.

Using the "Sharp tip" of the sponge applicator, I like to start with the dark color and apply starting from the center of my brows going to the tip as shown on photo below.

The sponge transfers less brow product as opposed to regular brush, so you may find yourself going through the step again and again especially if you have dark brows like I do.

Using the edge of the same sponge brush, apply the lighter shade on the inner half of your brows.  This will give you an illusion of a 3D brows when you use 2 shades.

Before and After

Here are some tips I want to add for you when it comes to using this product ---
  • The Foolproof Brow Powder won't be enough if you have sparse areas.  You may need to fill-in the sparse area with brow pencil.
  • Foolproof Brow Powder is a good last step brow product.
  • If you have oily skin, best to use brow wax from the Brow Zings or maybe, apply a brow mascara first so the powder has something to stick on.
  • The lighter shade of Shade 3 is too light, so I tend to find myself mixing both shades to create a nice medium shade.
  • I highly recommend this for users with full or complete brows.  If you have super sparse and thin brows, this product won't do the cut.  This is a nice "add on" product instead.
AMW used only Benefit Fool Proof Brow Powder Shade 3 in this Half-face Test.

I personally like this product since I always have my brows groomed at Benefit Brow Bar plus my brows are full!  So this is a great product to "tint" and create fuller and natural-looking brows in a flash.
