Punch on my Lips, Not in my Drink!

I started to enjoy lipliners especially when they are getting more pigmented and glides on easier than before!  What I dislike about lipliners/lip pencils though is how thin they are and how it takes longer time for me to apply since I have full lips!

Art Sticks (also known as Lip Crayons) are the answer to my "full lips" problem.  But, most of them tend to be drying and not as pigmented thus I end up exfoliating my lips instead of applying color to them!

I recently discovered Bobbi brown Art Stick during a quick visit at the SM Beauty Section and got myself a shade called PUNCH.  I haven't been into bright colored lip products lately but this has definitely been a huge exception to the rule!

Housed in a jumbo crayon packaging, you get the Bobbi Brown name printed and the bottom part of the pencil is the shade.  This is a wooden pencil so you need to make sure you own a jumbo sharpener to be able to sharpen this.  I am not sure if Bobbi Brown locally sells this with the jumbo sharpener but they definitely have a specific Bobbi Brown Jumbo Sharpener!

Lipstick meets liner—this chunky pencil glides on effortlessly and delivers a creamy matte finish to instantly step up any look. The perfect blend of emollients and shea butter creates a rich creamy texture that allows for smooth and effortless application with incredibly comfortable wear. The enclosed sharpener ensures a precision application every time.

Punch is a matte bright medium pink shade.

Let's talk about the texture.  The Bobbi Brown Art Stick shocks me in terms of how easy it glides onto my dry lips even without prepping it beforehand.  The final finish is creamy matte and it hugs y lips comfortably without heavy or sticky feel.

This stays on my lips for good 4-5 hours and guess what?  I can use this on y cheeks too as a cheek color!  Tried this once when I was out without a blush!

On my pigmented lips the color appears warmer and darker but I am not complaining because it does not enhance my dry lip lines!

How to apply?  I like to use the sharp tip as a lip liner and use the wider edge of the crayon in filling in my lips!  It is best not to use lip balm underneath for the product to stay longer and not slide off midday!

  2. Jusy saw Kris A’s video featuring the Art Sticks! I didn’t know meron pala si BB. I immediately searched for reviews, too bad it doesn’t come with a free sharpener anymore (based on 2014-2015 reviews of local bloggers). I love the shade that you got! Will tag you on IG as soon as I get one hehe =)
