The secret to completing a lot of tasks as a Blogger, Mom, PR and Brand Consultant, Makeup Trainer (and a lot more!) is not about being a natural-born Superwoman, it is, in my opinion as plain as a single word called "RUSHING".
I know the things to be rushed and things to give importance an make time! I can whip up a family dinner good for 5-6 heads in less than 30 minutes, spend time teaching my son and bond with him with Arts and Activities for an hour and do my makeup in 3-5 minutes flat!
PRIORITIES. A secret I hold for almost 5 years now since turning into a mom!
As much as I missed the whole hoobaloo of makeup application, my look isn't really a priority especially if I only need to go out for errands! There may be times I need to prettify myself and use extra time for events, but most of the time, my makeup is super low key and I believe fellow mommies would understand.
Now, with the love for low key makeup, I highly depend on makeup products that is very quick and easy to use! I recently discovered my love affair for Eye Pencils when I used the one from Etude House and added my collection with the newest one from The Body Shop.

Cyprus Bronze
A twistable crayon-like packaging with rounded tip making it easy to apply
all-over lids or just the crease area!
Swatch
Cyprus Bronze is a cool-tone golden bronze shade.
I can imagine this shade to work well on all skin tones!
The application is super easy! I highly recommend those who aren't into eyeshadow application to start using such product because it is fool-proof! Just sweep the crayon all over the crease (start from crease and stop yourself from applying all over lid).
I like it that I can add more layers for the color to pop! Using the same crayon tip, I like to apply same product on the lower lashline as shown on photo below.
You can use a clean brush in sweeping the harsh edges for a smoked out effect. Since I'm doing this tutorial for someone who is just starting out on makeup, you don't have to use any tools but your clean pinky finger and gently blend harsh edges.
I like it that I can use this as an eyeshadow base or use it on its own because Cyprus Bronze is pretty as is. It comes with a slight shimmer so the product helps create dimension to the eyes.
They come in several shades but I was able to try only this particular shade. So far, it is waterproof, crease-proof and budge-proof! If you have oily lids, you may still opt to use your favorite eyeshadow primer as security blanket, but I've used this several times in different weather condition, so far, no primer is needed for normal and dry lids.
Can you see how the color pop in a very subtle way?

I've been browsing on-line more than three hours nowadays, but
ReplyDeleteI never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours.
It's lovely price enough for me. Personally, if all site
owners and bloggers made good content as you
probably did, the net will likely be much more helpful than ever
before.
Keep on writing, great job!
