I have a lot of favorite Cheek Tints but there's ONE that I've been using constantly for the past weeks! It is so easy to apply I can't believe it's even a cheek tint! (As we all know, most Cheek tints are easy-to-apply but they tend to require Flash-like fingers and hands). With this particular one, I can actually take time in blending and applying and have a non-blotchy cheek color so natural you wouldn't know I have something on! (Beware guys! Another trade secret from us girls! :P)
B. By Banila Water Cheer Water Cheek
Shade: Pink Chou Cream PK02
Php595.00 (approx $12.30)
A liquid cheek tint with a powdery finish that gives a natural-looking blush. Lightweight, buildable and is best paired with a cushion foundation.
Saw them in store and originally thought these are nail polishes! Was surprised to learn this is actually a cheek product and I immediately tested the shade shade Pink Chou just because it was highly recommended by the S.A. and I fell in love!
Product Description in Korean
Comes with a brush that also looks like a nail polish applicator.
Mind you, the brush may look weird to you but it actually works
as an effective applicator for such product!
Swatch: PK02 Pink Chou Cream
Application:
When it comes to tint, I usually advise everyone to apply first a tiny amount on the fingertip and apply on cheek! For this particular one from Banila Co, I highly recommend to apply the product straight from the brush to your cheeks because it is amazing like that!
With a few brush strokes starting from the apples of your cheeks, apply 2-3 layers as seen on photo below.
And you can actually take time and blend everything with your fingertips! NO RUSHING! I can even take time to have my husband take a photo of me applying the tint straight from brush without rushing (Which never happens when we are shooting for cheek tints!)
And do you even see uneven stains? NONE RIGHT?
So you can do the other cheek and still get the exact same result! Mess-free, unevenness-free and very subtle and natural-looking (referring to Pink Chou Cream on me!)
I actually used this and applied for first impressions in one of my #AMWIGStories and got the most responses from followers, all of them wanted the said product because it actually looks good, natural and best part? VERY EASY TO USE!
Now, before I start sounding like an INFOMMERCIAL, really, here's what to expect with the B. By Banila Pink Chou Cream ---
- Packaging is weird for a cheek tint but actually WORKS!
- Can actually stack up pretty well on my professional kit too! Planning to buy more shades guys!
- Price is good as a little amount is okay.
- Pigmentation is just right.
- The drying time of the product is quick but not so quick that you need to rush in blending.
- The effect is always smooth and natural even if you take time in application. Again, I am talking only on behalf of this particular shade that I've tried.
- Pink Chou Cream looks very subtle and natural on me. At the same time, it gives a healthy, natural-looking glow that makes my skin healthy-looking even without adding a highlighting product.
- Though this is named "Cheer Water Cheek", on random days you forgot your lipstick, you can actually apply this on your lips!
- Does not last as long as other tints though
