Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Eraser Concealer

So the Saga for Concealers continue....and I got my hands on the most coveted concealer from the Beauty Blogging community!  The Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Eraser Concealer!  I've seen Beauty YouTuber (both localand international) raving about this!  So when I learned this is FINALLY available in the Philippines, I got so excited, moved all the concealers I've been using aside and tested this for almost a month!  1 week in Korea and the rest of the days here.

This super-concentrated treatment concealer features a micro-corrector applicator to help instantly erase dark circles and fine lines.

This concealer for dark circles and fine lines instantly creates a radiant, refreshed looking eye area. Infused with goji berry and Haloxyl™. Packaging may vary, what you receive may not be what is reflected on site.

You have to "twist" the collar of the concealer in the direction of arrows until you see the concealer visible on sponge!  It took me approximately 10-15 twists.  Not bad!

The shade I am using and reviewing is in Medium.

On for my honest review.  The sponge tip applicator is a PRO and CON.  I never enjoyed concealing this much until I tried this very soft and comfortable sponge applicator!  It fits perfectly under the eye area, even the sides of the nose, chin and forehead!  I like how easy it is for me to apply my concealer in the morning (cuts my concealer application almost in half!)

The sponge helps spread the concealer evenly and I can even use the same sponge the blend everything without an extra tool!  So this is a perfect touch-up concealer too!  On the CON side, of course, this isn't hygienic and I can't seem to wash this applicator!

Best areas to apply: Under eye

Sides of the nose where there's a lot of broken capillaries and red spots!

Chin + other random spots!

Before and After
As you can see, dark circles are neutralized and my undereye area looked more brighter and luminous!  It gives that "brightening" effect aside from concealing.

AMW says ---

  • Packaging is nice and unique.  Very handy but the sponge-tip applicator is difficult to clean up and I can't use this concealer on other people too.
  • Can conceal darkness, redness and certain acne marks.
  • Does not settle into my dry skin and has a hydrating feel.
  • Works more as a medium concealer + more of a skin brightener.
  • Can help fake 8 hour sleep.
  • Will not totally cover extreme dark undereye circles.  Honey maybe a better shade match.
  • Lightweight feel.  Dries quickly and appears matte even without setting with powder.

Overall, I find this to be a great daily concealer as it is very easy-to-use and the lightweight feel without the drying factor adds up to all the positive factors!  I think I should try out other shades to best correct dark circles even more!

  4. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering
if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter
updates. I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.

Please let me know if you run into anything.

  5. Everything wrote was actually very reasonable. However, think about this, what if you composed a catchier post title?
I am not suggesting your information is not good., but what if you added a
title that grabbed people's attention? I mean "Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circles Eraser Concealer" is a little
vanilla. You could glance at Yahoo's front
page and see how they write article titles to get viewers interested.
You might add a related video or a picture or two
to get readers excited about everything've written. Just my opinion,
it might make your website a little bit more interesting.

  6. Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this site.
It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's
very difficult to get that "perfect balance" between usability
and appearance. I must say you have done a excellent job with this.
In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome.
    Excellent Blog!

  8. Excellent blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?

I'm hoping to start my own site soon but I'm a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go
for a paid option? There are so many choices out
there that I'm totally confused .. Any recommendations?
    Kudos!
