A "Beauty Water" that's meant to be applied before Toner? Seriously, why would I add something to my "already long" beauty routine?
Well, to some, it is tedious but for me, who loves skincare products and can vouch on how taking care of the skin can give you better-looking skin, I don't mind the extra effort.
I had the Sakura Bloom Hydrating Skin Booster for quite some time but only gotten the chance to write a review as I have been reviewing facial mists one brand at a time. I love facial mists as it hydrates my dry skin throughout the day and I love how it sets my makeup pretty well.
For Happy Skin Beauty Sakura Bloom Hydrating Skin Booster, I originally treat this as a regular facial mist but realized it gives MORE to what I expected.
Sakura Bloom Hydrating Skin Booster Says ---
Strengthen the power of your skin with one product. Most effective when used immediately after cleansing, this boosting essence is the first step of skincare. Featuring a hydrate-and-glow double function, it helps with the recovery of tired skin.
AMW says ---
Pros
- Spray bottle, no need for extra cotton pad but just spritz and dab with your clean hands.
- Smells really good and relaxing.
- Non-sticky.
- Refreshing to the skin and skin immediately feels smooth.
- Can also work in between makeup especially if there are dry patches around the skin, it eases down redness and calms the skin.
Cons
- Oily-skin users may find the extra step tedious and may add up to the "extra skincare product" feel especially to those who aren't used to using skincare products.
- Some effects may not be seen immediately so other people gave up to continuously use such product!
Overall
A nice product to add especially if you have dry, normal and combination skin. Works really well in terms of keeping the skin smooth and makeup stays longer.
Tips
from Happy Skin
- Spray directly onto face or on a cosmetic cotton pad. Spread evenly on the face with an inside-out direction. Tap face lightly to wake up skin and help increase absorption. For troubled areas, dampen a cosmetic cotton pad and leave over troubled area for three minutes.
from AMW
- Put inside the fridge during hot summer to refresh the skin and close down open pores.
- Best to be applied at night if you don't like the "extra product" applied on day time.
- Best to be applied after cleansing before toning. But to oily skinned users who dislikes using moisturizer, this can actually work!
- Best to purchase the "peel" version as it is best to exfoliate skin at least once or twice a week for better absorption of skincare products.
Will I repurchase?

I like to spritz even before I apply makeup, that extra spritz calms my redness and also keeps my skin hydrating even when I set my makeup with powder!
Do you think Skin Booster is an extra step you would be willing to do on your daily skincare regimen or do you think it's a waste of time and money?
I'd love to hear from you!
Keep smilin'
If it is cooler here and my skin is drier than my usual oily skin I might consider this but for now...naahh.
