Peel and Polish by Petra Skintreats Review

Peeling?

Exfoliating?
*runs on the other side and hides*

I am always scared of skincare that seems to treat my skin harshly, because, is there peeling that is safe?

Thankfully, there are!  Brands nowadays are coming up with products that are safe even for sensitive skin users like me!

I started using Peel & Polish after trying out other Pixi Skintreats products and found no negative reactions to it.  So can I just say, this was the last product I took the courage to try!

"This radiance revealing enzyme peel resurfaces for smoother, softer skin, and a healthy looking glow.  Natural fruit enzymes loosen dead skins cells, lactic acid gently exfoliates, cellulose peels & sugar extracts polishes, lifting away dullness revealing brighter skin.  Professional salon peel treatment without leaving home suited on all skin types and is not tested on animals, Paraben-Free."

Okay, I was starting to backout that rainy night when I started with just a pea-size amount, I applied it all over my face and let it sit for good 3 minutes (so scared to do 5 minutes!)  There is a slight vegetable-like scent which I don't mind.

After 3 full minutes, I went on and apply a bit of water and gently scrub and scrub.  It actually felt soothing and relaxing after a long day of work.  It does have a "grainy" feel so keep in mind not to scrub hard even if you don't have sensitive skin like I do!

Now, after I washed off the product, what I see in the mirror is brighter looking skin!  Seriously, it looked brighter than before, I had to ask Mr. AMW if I'm imagining things, he agreed that it brightened a bit!

Thankfully, my skin did not feel tight so immediately went ahead and applied my usual moisturizer.  The next day, I woke up with similarly looking skin --- no allergic reactions, no redness --- just bright -looking skin and a pimple on my chin!

Okay, I originally thought the pimple was due to the product so I used the product again for 2nd then 3rd time!  Then I had my period and realized, the zit was because of the monthly thing!  Nothing alarming from the product!

But keep in mind that this product worked for me and may not work for you!  I highly recommend everyone to do a small skin patch test prior to usage especially if it is a potent product like such!  I find that using this once a week is enough for me as I am so scared to increase the times of usage.

Overall, this is a great investment and a great alternative way to exfoliate your skin!

Pixi Skintreats Peel and Polish is priced locally at Php1,390.00 available at www.glamourbox.ph.
