If you follow me on Social Media, you probably saw that I spent last weekend staying at Sofitel Philippine Plaza as to prepare for my sis-in-law's Engagement Party.
Engagement parties in Chinese culture is somewhat a big deal, it is similar to "Pamamanhikan" (Read about it HERE).
I don't have to stress enough how my 24 hours a day will never be enough for all the tasks I need to finish! I just visited my parents the day before and arrived late at night so packing is really not my thing! Thankfully, I was armed with these stuff to keep me sane!
Because I was sent Cerelac Nutripuffs and I don't have enough time to go to the supermarket to buy Kyle his "snacks" like cookies and chips, I just grabbed these puffs and told myself to worry later. Surprisingly, Kyle loved the puffs so much he was enjoying it as a snack on its' own (even without milk) as he chew and enjoy drawing his "planets".
Then I usually pack separate bath products for Kyle but I left all of them in a Hotel we stayed in last Chinese New Year! Thankfully, I was sent these Babyflo products and I didn't even take a look at them but toss everything in a bag and brought them all with me!
I am overwhelmed by the range of products available from the brand but I have used the Babyflo Oatmeal Bath and Baby Shampoo and Kyle loved them so much because the scent is really good and they lather pretty well! I also ended up using Babyflo Petroleum Jelly for my lips (as this mom brain didn't bring any lip balm!). The Baby Powder is also a big help for a super active boy who perspires a lot even during sleep! (yes, even inside an air-conditioned room)
And because it was a very important celebration and a lot of family members will be hugging my son, I made sure he smell like a baby!
Anyone remembers Denenes Cologne? I do, I've used one when I was in highschool and I still love the same citrusy scent that brings back so much joy and cheer!
True enough these scents are not just for Babies, but Babies of ANY Age! I use them too!
Whew, that weekend passed by so quickly there are moments I find myself "spaced out" at a corner holding my phone snapping away photos of my son! In my heart, I knew I won't be able to rewind these special moments but I'm glad I get the chance to be there for him on his important milestones! First time for him to wear a Tux ha! :P
How's your week so far?
Keep smilin'
