Althea Real Fresh Skin Detoxer Thoughts

A Skin Detoxer set (meaning 2 tubes) for a Thousand Pesos?

That's a steal right?  So I immediately tested Althea's Real Fresh Skin Detoxer in Green Tea and Rose.  I tried mostly the Green Tea variant and recently went for Rose just because...well..read on!

I tried the Green Tea variant first though I knew Rose would be the perfect one for me.  Rose is meant to be used if you want to refine your skin while Green Tea is meant for purifying.  I wanted purification because of all the products I've tried and used, I like to do a bit of "deep cleansing" once a week or so.

The Green Tea variant contains Real Green Tea Leaves as the main ingredient, also included are green tea extract and glycerin.  

It was stated in the instructions that you apply a hefty amount on a dry skin.  Since I was on a testing stage, I went for thin layer instead just to make sure!  

The texture of the product is smooth and it is quite easy for me to even out the product all over my face without dripping.  It has a gel-like consistency that sticks to your skin with a nice, cool feeling,  

I followed instructions carefully and left a thin layer of this product for 10 minutes and went on massaging my skin with water before washing everything off.

I've used the Green Tea variant for a total of 3 times once a week. 

My skin feels like a baby's BUM!  No joke at all!  I had the smoothest and softest skin after use and it'll go back to normal several days after making you want to use the product more often.

BUT, here's the catch!  Since I have combination DRY and Normal skin and I find the Green Tea product to be drying so it is best to follow up on HEAVY Creams or moisturizers when you use such product and have the same skin type as me!

Can you see the glow?  That's the glow I get after EVERY use!

I have tried to inject Rose variant recently and so far, it hasn't dry out my skin like the Green Tea one!  I will keep on using it and will update you my experience.

Overall, I am happy I get a 10 seconds mask I an use on a busy days because I honestly love sheet masks, but there are really days I can't wait for 15 minutes because I tend to doze off before I even peel the mask pack!
