Yves Rocher "Gris Profound" Look

Who would've thought I can create an eyeshadow look from a brand that is known for Botanical ingredients?

Well, to see is to believe, the brand actually creates good eyeshadow palettes I am so confused why I left it sitting on my vanity for the longest time! One day, I wanted to create a daytime smoky eye makeup look and I saw the Yves Rocher Quad Sumptuous Color Palette in Gris Profound, this palette consists of Black, Gray and White which is a perfect quad for smoky eye makeup.

By the way, they have other shades available, they have blues, browns and purples.

The shadow quad is housed in a gorgeous rose gold compact, and each shadow are decently sized Actually, the size is quite huge I don't think I will hit the pan anytime soon.

The compact also comes with 2 double sided sponge applicator and they are really useful during travel! I don't know about you though, I tend to lose them along the way! Maybe, these should come in strings? (hahaha) Just joking guys.

These shadows can actually be used both wet or dry. I always prefer to use my eyeshadow dry because that's how I can test their pigmentation. So far, the pigmentation of these are good and I can get away even without eyeshadow primer underneath.

I love how this palette is versatile in a sense that I can create soft smoky eye makeup or dark, intense look in the evening. The palette has a matte white shadow, a light silver one, a darker silver bullet shade and a matte black! 2 are matte (white and black) while the silver shades have a nice sheen to it. I like how it enhances my small eyes creating more depth and intensity.
