AMW Workshop Series 9: THANK YOU!

5 years ago, I had a vision of creating my own brand of workshop so brands can easily reach out to makeup enthusiasts and makeup junkies get easy access to try out various brands without spending a lot!

It was a vision I've been wanting to do for so long. It took me 2 years (year 2016) to finally materialize everything, with the help of brand friends and family - I finally gave it a go, praying really hard hoping I can push through this lovely vision of mine!

Fast forward to 3 years and 8 workshops after, I only had 1 last year due to family emergency (my dad had a stroke). Come 2019, I told myself this is the year that I should make a comeback! Thankfully, with the continuous support of the brands/sponsors and AMW Workshoppers - AMW Workshop Series 9 happened!

And I can't wait for my 10th workshop! But before I start brainstorming on that - let me walk you through what happened during the "Get That Glow On" workshop!

My dearest sponsors were kind enough to make sure their sponsored items are related to the topics I created. Since this is a "Get That Glow On" workshop, we focus more on having good skin and creating healthy, glowing skin!

The price of the workshop is Php2,800 but attendees get to take home MORE THAN Php10,000 worth of skincare, makeup items and services.

Space 1851 Coworking Hub is located at Pilar Hidalgo Lim St. Malate Manila, the place is HUGE and new and it is a PERFECT place for such workshops like mine! Before my workshop, they also held a Photography workshop c/o Fujifilm. This place is perfect as attendees have ample space to chill and enjoy their food while waiting for their turn at the Nail Art Station.

I ordered food from the coffee shop downstairs and they don't just look aesthetically good, they taste really delicious!

This is our classroom, this can fit up to 40 heads. But since I wanted all my attendees to be comfortable, I only fit approximately 30 heads sitting down with ample space to move and apply makeup.

As always, my workshop starts with a 45min-1 hour demo on the topic. I always start with skincare then to makeup tips and tricks. Instead of inviting a model, I want our #AMWWorkshoppers to get the chance to experience having a quick makeover with my most-loved HALF-Face test for them to see results!

Afterwards, they were all given 15-20 minutes to do their own makeup and apply what they learned during my workshop. Of course, the top 3 best makeover will get to bring home extra prizes. And of course, as for any #AmwWorkshops I do a lot of Q&A and contests at the end to check if participants learn something.

Each attendee gets to use the items inside their lootbag - yes, all the items can create a full face makeup look!

JuanGadgetPH ringlight was also there for participants to enjoy a nice "selfie" after their makeover. Best of all, our friends from JuanGadgetPH created a contest and 1 lucky #AMWWorkshopper gets to take home a Desk Ringlight! Congrats Diana!

I had so much fun not only teaching but getting to know all my #AMWFriends Most of them are long-time AMW readers and some have been going to my workshops for more than 5 times!
