Glossier Cloud Paint Review

I've read and heard SO MANY raves on GLOSSIER Cloud Paints, and I wonder, is it a fad?  Is it a marketing strategy?  How can a cheek product get a lot of raves considering there are so many other great ones out there?

Then, after first use, I turned into an ambassadress of Glossier Cloud Paint without THEM having to pay me or tell me!  Seriously, I've been raving so much about this I am questioning myself!  But please, feel free to scroll down and tell me why I should stop bragging about this!

According to Glossier, this product is "pillowy, gel-cream formula is designed to be the most user-friendly cheek color in existence."

I have used so many cream or gel-type blush but this one is totally unique in its' own way!

Swatch: Storm
The ONLY CON I can say regarding this product is the shade name, it is called STORM but storm reminds me of something dark, grayish - and this one is the opposite of everything I mentioned.  This appears to be a reddish plum shade and seriously scary at first blend.  Up until this very moment of nth usage, I still worry I over apply but always end up with a very soft, natural look (I can't even!).

No matter how much you apply, it will blend out so seamlessly and true enough, you don't see any uneven patches - no matter how many times you layer this product on!

I can apply this using my bare hands (my choice of weapon) or I can use a stippling brush or any synthetic face brush to apply this product.  The effect will ALWAYS be the same so I call this a no-frill, no-mess, no-worry type of blush!

Storm has warm undertone so it appears even more natural on me.  Again, this is very sheer and can be built depending on how much "flush" you want to appear on your cheeks.  The cheek stain is very translucent and you don't feel like you're wearing any makeup at all which makes this also a perfect PHILIPPINE WEATHER or any HUMID weather type of cheek product.

Before and After

As for longevity, it lasted me all throughout workout though the stain gets decreased midday from all the wiping of sweat!  But here's a trick for you to make this even more natural-looking, apply a good amount all over your cheeks without worrying about over-applying, apply your favorite face powder on top and this will be very natural people will really think the blush color is your natural cheek color (even Mr. AMW thought so too considering he knew me since I was 16 years old!)

If a makeup product can trick a husband, you'll know it is SUPER GOOD!

  1. I don’t usually put make ups on my face because of my sensitive skin, but this Glossier
Cloud Paint is a different story its a friendly make up that will keep you glowy but it will not break you out plus it easy to blend to my skin without using other products.
