How happy do I look when brows are made up?
Very happy! I have a couple of brow pencils right on top of my dresser table because I find pencils to be the easiest tool (still) when I'm in a rush!
Recently, Maybelline launched their newest eyebrow pencils called Define & Blend. 2 years ago, they went full blast with their brow products, created a full range namely ---
And there were a couple more way back 2014! I tend to look back and compare but for these particular pencils, I try not to look back because true to what it's supposed to be - you get better as you grow older! Same with Maybelline, they get better as they create more brow products!
The Maybelline Define & Blend Brow pencils are no exception. They are first-timer brow product users' friendly! Easy to use and I love the range of colors! They actually nailed it with the color choices and as a Professional Make Up Artist, I can actually survive with these 4 shades!

When it comes to brow pencils, my requirements are quite simple - it is better if it's retractable (no sharpening needed) and it MUST come with a spoolie! For me, a good brows ain't going to happen if you don't brush your brow hairs properly prior to brow pencil application (unless, you literally don't have any brow hairs to brush!) I stress it once again - a SPOOLIE is a must!

I said it on my above statement, Maybelline nailed it with the shade choices! The shades are perfect for Filipinas and even asians alike! I love how they get a mix of yellow, red and grey with their brown shade - the effect will always be natural no matter how many times you apply!
Application Technique:
Best to brow brush hairs to make sure they are clean, you do this BEFORE and AFTER.
It is best to look straight in the mirror and gently mimic your brow hairs. Draw with gentle strokes and don't worry if you overapply, that is the use of a spoolie, just keep on brushing and the pigment will be lessened.

- Love the retractable pencil and angled tip.
- Love the shade selection.
- I like it that the pencil comes with spoolie brush and the price is affordable.
- The pencil though isn't as smooth and creamy as compared to more expensive brands - but again, since the product is inexpensive, I give this a slide.
- The tip of the pencil tends to be hard on first use or every time you use it, warm the tip at the back of your hand before use.
- The product lasts long since the texture of the product isn't as creamy. There is a bit of fading by end of 8 hours especially on the inner corner of the brows and the tail of the brows.
- Make sure to be gentle in drawing as I got broke it twice!
Overall, this is an inexpensive eyebrow pencil that delivers!
Great if you are on a budget and want something that still looks good!
