Seaking's Calamari Sticks Recipe

I love to order Calamari whenever we dine in an American Restaurant.  As much as we love the "crunch", the order is always "bitin" and we always wanted MORE!

As much as I love cooking, I'm always in a rush and will always prepare meals that are 30 minutes less!  With the work I do, the cooking in between MUST be easy, fun to do and the most important thing of all? DELICIOUS!

So whenever I shop for my weekly menu plan, I always have something in the fridge that is easy-to-do!  Just like the Seaking Calamari Sticks.

Disclaimer: This pack was sent to me but I have been buying these way before they sent me!  Yes, you can check my video recipes on Recipes Highlight on Instagram.

Now let's start preparing Crunchy Calamari Sticks in 30 minutes time - or less!

Ingredients:

  • Seaking Calamari Sticks
  • 1 Egg
  • Bread Crumbs
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Optional: Mayonnaise as dressing

Step 1:
Throw in Seaking Calamari Sticks in a bowl and add in All-Purpose Flour.  For 1 pack, I used approximately 4-5 tablespoons.

Step 2:
Add in garlic powder, salt and pepper and throw in whisked egg.

Step 3:
Mix everything until Calamari sticks are evenly coated.

Step 4:
Heat oil in pan, while doing so, start wrapping each calamari sticks with bread crumbs.

Tip: I use a big bowl, throw in Bread Crumbs and throw in a couple of sticks together and shake the bowl.  The "shaking" motion will evenly distributes the breadcrumbs and the sticks will separate!

Step 5:
Set oil in medium fire once oil is hot, put in one strips at a time.  Be very careful and gentle.

Ready-to-Serve
Even Kyle loves this so much!

Just so you know, Seaking also has my favorite Bangus Belly and I just marinate it with calamansi, salt and pepper and fry it.

The extra vinegar with tomatoes, onions and garlic is also a great siding!

Now that's easy yet restaurant-quality cooking at the comfort of your home!
